Founded in 2014, Brooklyn Duo has quickly established itself as one of today’s most successful classical crossover ensembles. 10 years ago today my mother passed into the glorious and beautiful existence of forever. Her favorite saying as she transitioned was "Onward thru the Fog" with a smile. I miss her dearly. And she loved this song and she would have loved this rendition. Thank you, my good people.

thank you for this,,,, I have been mourning the loss of a friend so dear to me he was a father to me... for 21 years. this came to me yesterday and I totally have listened to it like 50 times... most while writing a goodbye letter to him like it was suggested online while I was looking for help because I knew I had to find a way to heal. I was finally able to say goodbye today with the help of one of my daughters and repeating this song over and over that you were playing. I found y'all about a month and a half ago and so happy that I did. thank you... thank you for helping on a horrendously hard day to move forward. Everytime a cello is played, it transports me to another world. This is really one of the only instruments that can give so many emotions at the same time, with harmonica and saxophone.

What I love most about what you guys do is the fact you highlight just how actually amazing some of the melodies etc in modern music are. It's easy for old fart music fans to get jaded on new sounds but putting it into another context/instrumental arrangement really highlights how good some of this stuff is. Your cover of Sia's Elastic Heart is a great example of that.

Bravo Marnie & Patrick. A beautiful arrangement and performance of this so melodic melody. I especially love the phrasing at 2.04; whilst at 2.30 I got chills as you both caught the melody so perfectly. And Patrick's closing phrases are heart wrenching.
