Who did AIndra Prabhu take Babaji initiation from? I never heard he took Babaji from anyone, but he is described her as having accepted the Babaji ashram.
Hare Krishna Prabhuji. Yes, you are right - Aindra Prabhu never took Babaji initiation from anyone. Actually, right after his departure, maybe for a year or so, many devotees were referring to him as Aindra Baba, or as Aindra Dasa Babaji. It all started on the disappearance festival held at the Krishna Balarama temple, in which H.G. Mukunda Datta Prabhu recited the pranam-mantra for the pushpanjali ceremony. In this ceremony, Aindra Prabhu was addressed as "Aindra Dasa Babaji Maharaj", because MDD was thinking of giving him special respect. However, from there is started spreading all over the globe. I personally stopped using this title because AP appeared in a dream and told me to stop calling him like this. So I stopped, but the title is still there in the videos I uploaded within a year after his departure in 2010.
@@abhiramababa : Hare Krishna Prabhuji. Yes, this is true. He was considering to take sannyasa in the 80's. I also do not know the very exact details, but in a nutshell: Aindra Prabhu was too much out of the box for the management of ISKCON at that time. Besides that, many young sannyasis faced troubles in their ashrama. So it was getting more and more difficult to get sannyasa within ISKCON, which is still the case up to this day. There is a long waiting list, and all the candidates have to wait for several years before they are given sannyasa.
@@SandeshDasi well whatever the case, Aindra Prabhu's standard of sannyas was very high. Sannyas is not a stamped label, it is a qualification based on shastra, and it is a matter of the heart. According to shastra, I think Aindra Prabhu was a sannyasi. But he always just wanted to be called Aindra Dasa. Nonetheless, it would be great if more sannyasis in ISKCON could follow Aindra Prabhu's standard of sannyas. There is no doubt of his qualification. That is simply my opinion.
@@abhiramababa Yes Prabhu, I totally agree with you. He always stayed in a meek and humble position, and the standard he followed was higher than the standard of many ISKCON sannyasis.
I simply adore the devotion that he showed singing kirtans. Thank you so much !
