As a single handicapper who has played this course many times - seeing you shoot almost even par from the mens’ tee (blue- the ones I play!), makes me fully realize just how good you are! This is golf from a different planet!
I love old courses. I like looking at the design and the skills of the designer to set up traps to avoid, little run offs, shoulders of bunkers making your putt hard. This place looks great.
Always love to see you play. I am starting to be more thoughtful on the course from your teaching. Thank you for sharing with us. My wife love your purple outfit.
Great video! I agree with your observation. So many guys I see on courses in L.A. play from the back tees when they clearly don't have the skills to do so. I certainly don't.
Hey Gen... the most impressive thing to me is playing so well with a rangefinder in your back pocket... 😊 Looking forward to seeing your next tournament results... always hoping for your success. ☠✌
It is not rude in any way dropping 'truth bombs' Play the tee box that allows you to have the most fun and suits your game. Great video!!! Great work at the LET last weekend!!! Keep it up!!!
I am continually amazed at just how beautiful Malaysia is, must be a wonderful place to live!! That course is also epic, have seen it in your vlogs before, but just a well done course and looks challenging, but accessible. Also, Gen, congrats on the Top 30 (Even Par) for the Skafto Open, keep it going, you are playing great!! Well done, young lady!! Best for the Aland 100 Open!!
Another fantastic video. Lovely course and great play. Great advice about playing the tees that give you a fair chance. I play the shortest yardage tees, but many times it’s bogey or double on longer yardage courses. Not every course in the U.S. provide favorable tees for me. I just play them and take what I get. My home course does have them and I really enjoy playing there.
Gen, I'm still smiling ear to ear 'cuz I just returned home from a golf vacation on Oahu. Five days ago I played at The Royal Hawaiian. OMG - jungle course. You should feel right at home. Search YT for other vloggers playing there and you'll see what I mean. Six months ago, or so, I requested that you play at Avery Ranch in Austin/Cedar Park - and you did :) Next I'd love to see you play and hear your commentary on The Royal Hawaiian (whenever you happen to be passing by Oahu of course). I played elsewhere on my short vacation as well but TRH was the most impressive. Team Gen, who else has played out there?
Love your videos, Gen. We live in North Queensland, Australia. But we are thinking of retiring in Malaysia soon. Where do you recommend a good place to settle to enjoy golf. KL might be too much of a big city for me. My wife is Japanese so an area with Japanese expats would be good for her. Any tips?
Maybe the release dates of your videos do not reflect your actual travel movements but Im surprised you seem to be spending so much time travelling to and from Malaysia when I would have thought time spent practicing in Europe between tournaments would be more beneficial to you.

Thank you Gen. My game improved, my understanding of the game improved and my fun level went off the charts when I started playing it forward.
I played this course in 1977 when I was much younger. Nice to revisit the course. Thank you Gen.

Hi Gen. Love your tempo. I`m getting there slowly. P.S. Your smile never fails to cheer me.
Nice Gen, you are quite the marketer. You would make any father proud giving your life to golf. Cheers and be well!

Another good round and great commentary from our friend Gen!
your vlogs are so chill to watch
Gen serious face and good lag, no doubt honed on the pro tour. Solid golf and advice as per usual...👍
Striking the ball, very well. 😎😎

Excited to watch your new video! ❤️
I agree with you on picking the right tee box for your distance. Ego's get you in trouble. 🤗
Enjoy your videos so much. Thank you
Not a good result this week. What is holding you back? Cheering for you each week!

I'm packing my golf bag and coming to Malaysia
So pretty, I like the course too.
Golf babe. Great vids.
Here’s a question: do range finders display in yards or meters? Nice par save on 7...the finger snap helped! Great par on 9👍👍👍
Both
How come the bogey on the 8th doesn't get mentioned
what driver, wood & ball u use...? the sound is so awesome & make me crazy... :)
Hi Gen how about a whats in the bag
You must be working out, looking very fit. Nice course, must be pricey to play there?
Like you I have a strong grip. Check out this tip by Michael Breed. It gave me distance.
Didnt you have 4 on the par 3 8th hole, and remained even ?
Hi, how could we join the club membership?
Same here!!!
Back from Europe?
How much does it cost to play there in dollar??
I miss your original intro. Just saying....After this video I will go back to watch it, lol.

how to play like Gene? answers......
I think you're swinging way too hard with your wedges Gen. Other than that, your long clubs & putter are looking great.
So you've returned to playing a draw??
Gen, have you married anyone yet? Now is time to find rich man from rubber tree plantation....
