Driving in Thailand is no joke. you got steering wheel on the right. You got scooters passing you all the time. Gotta be real careful. But it's a great experience! #Bangkok #Thailand
Bangkok is amazing! But I definitely wouldn't drive there. I took uber for the first 2 days and wasted so much time being stuck in traffic that I finally decided to take the metro/ skytrain. Metro in Bangkok is well thought out and very easy to follow. Can really help save a lot of time and make the Bangkok experience more enjoyable.
HI! Driving in Bangkok is difficult. Traffic get congested all the time. Lots of scooters passing you all the time. At night you gotta be extremely careful. Hope you like the video. Have you driven in Bangkok?
If you live in LA, NYC, London and think you have bad traffic, try going for a cab ride in Bangkok. During business hours, you will literally get to any destination faster by walking, although that really isn't pleasant in Bangkok due to the humidity and air pollution. Internal combustion motorbikes in Thailand should be taxed like cars, or even higher. Use that to subsidize electric scooters. It would do wonders for air quality.
As a Japanese car owner, I love how Japanese automobiles are literally dominating the roads and are trusted by the locals in an SEA country known for harsh climate.
I'm a Thai driving a Mercedes Benz and a Honda. I would say that it rides good but I have to spend much more money (like 50 times more) and time on maintenance alone. Japanese cars are less advanced but do the job much better.
The locals buy Japanese because they are much cheaper compared to European brands as they are manufactured or assembled here. Unless you are stupid enough like me who bought a BRZ with a 300% import tax as they are not made in Thailand because I love them. This means no import tax. The rich or well to do locals buy European/Amercian luxury cars with an import tax of 300%. You will never see them drive Japanese, unless they are rare classics like the R34s or RX7.
@@youarehere0not entirely true, it is also because its very reliable and last for a long time with minimal servicing. If Japanese vehicles weren’t reliable, people wont buy them even if they are cheap, maintenance is expensive and time consuming. European cars are not only expensive but require much more care and maintenance for them to perform that way years later down the road.
Modernization of many Eastern citys left them little choice than unsightly overhead wiring. Disrupting business by tearing up streets for underground is their only option. Perhaps one day they'll do that but it is unlikely.
In this clip i saw that all streets are clean where is a garbage don't post like that eccept you are gelous. May be cleaner than your Country i think not far from Thailand.😂😂😂😂😂

Watching from Australia. Bangkok according to this video: no large busses, no trucks, no cargo vans, no jeepneys. Do these only operating night time? Very dangerous when lane-splitting is so common. Rarely saw motorcycle drivers without crash helmet - illegal? All the vehicles had lights (brake, turning indicators) working, but rarely used their turning indicators.
We have a limited time access to the inner Bangkok for large truck. Pickup truck (your ute) are the most popular type of vehicle, so cargo vans is not necessary.
