Hi Derek, it was a while since I was last on your channel, but man I am so glad that I am back now because I love the Japanese Camper's. They are tiny but efficient what the majority of the Camper's in Europe ar not. Ceep up the good work and love your honesty in your videos that's something what's priceless and why I subscribed to your channel 👍.
I’m wondering if it is possible to buy the DOT headlights for these vehicles? They are right hand drive and don’t come with the US spec headlights. Is there a specific kit to buy for them or do you need to re and re the lenses ? Is the diesel engine normally aspirated?
That's 4HF1 engine. Pure reliable and durable but the problem is, it is just so hard to find engine parts unlike us in the Philippines we have so many engine parts whether brand new or aftermarket parts since we have lots of old Isuzu Elf trucks as surplus vehicles for commercial use. Not just 4HF1, but all kinds of engine variants.
Really nice camper can you give us a ballpark on how much a camper like this will go for it and also I was told that automatics are cheaper than manuals is this true
Verjy popular 'rig' amongst my RV colleagues in New Zealand. In USA RV terms, the Elf is a Type C motor coach (the seam between the driving and living components defines it). Hey mate, I am also in NZ with one of these campers (identical to this, just with a few upgrades). I know your comment is three years old, so there might not be a chance you see this - but I am desperately looking for where I can get window seals/rubbers to replace the stock ones which are now very aged. Is there any chance you could ask some of your NZ colleagues, or even somehow get me in touch with them? Cheers, thanks.
Can you get one of these sent to Canada ? I’d love one of these with a great running engine but don’t care about interior as much as I’d love to redo interior space . Love the big overhead sleep area .
Engine parts would be a greater problem. Since most of the old Isuzu N series in North America/Canada are rebadged GMC trucks and powered by Cummins or any American diesel engine
Hey all - I’m in the Denver, CO area and have just began my search for a 25+ year old JDM camper like the one in this video. My concern is, I’m not mechanically savvy and I’m not even sure what the part availability would be like, but is it even worth my time to get excited about eventually buying one of these or is it likely that someone in the Colorado region can work on/order parts on these if need be? Thanks, in advance! -Kevin
@PacificCoastAuto - Do you know where in the world i can get some window seals for one of these campers? I've tried almost every shop in New Zealand and no one has seen a window seal profile anything like it. I don't care where i need to order them from, i'm just desperate for replacements.
Near identical to my 1994 version which is slightly longer, 6.3m. Great motor, had mine 13 years and taken kms from 50k to 120k, beautiful to drive. Just taken out the gas heater and have a diesel to put in. Wish mine had the generator. One con, I had to re roof mine as the Japanese rubber is too thin for longevity. Cheers from NZ Would be keen to swap with someone somewhere exotic for a couple of months.
Hey mate, i also have one of these, and have also just re-roofed mine! I was wondering if you had any luck on where to get window seal replacements for these? I've tried almost 20 places and no one has even seen a seal profile that looks remotely like the ones on the van.
@@lrdzqq Sorry, can.t help, my windows are sealed onto the frame with silicon sealant that remains in excellent condition. The internal rubber seal (bottom track the glass slides on) I have removed by sliding out the plastic liner that is fitted underneath by carefully gripping with long nose pliers and sliding out. I’ve done this to clean the rubber track of dirt and grime and as it was in good condition just reinstalled it.
contact us if you have questions on prices. We can go over expected win amounts at auction and what to expect for a specific price to your country. For privacy reasons, we don't mention prices on these videos. Sorry for that.
Every 5cm is about 2in. I wish I could remember that instead of relying on the more convoluted 0.4in is about 1cm(or 10mm) conversion that I have memorized because I'm weird... . EDIT: Man, I wish I could travel through space and time to fix that one vehicle's squealing belt... at least, I hope it's the belt...
Actually interior starts at 8:50
Thanks always wanted on of these.
Thanks
Thanks
Much appreciated

Oh I remember seeing this one on the auction. Cool to see it is going to the States.
What auction site do you look at?
So looking forward to getting one of these!
It's so huge yet adorable at the same time
Good to see you Derek.
That's yellow xb in the back is one of my dream car.
I just bought one!!! So excited
how much?
2.7ltr and 3ltr engines are small??? My good sir you are on another level...😁😁😁😁
Seriously, a 4 cyl turbo charged 2-3ltr engine will smoke a 5.8ltr v6 these days.
This is absolutely adorable ❤
That wavy section usually means delamination, caused by rain water leaking in and separating the panels, very expensive repair
How do you access the engine with the camper set up like that?

Man I love these one day I can afford to fly to Vancouver to pick one up from
Y’all
Very cool little camper.
Oooo. Looks like the roof is leaking at 9:11. I'd still grab this if I didn't have too many toys already. Need to sell some and come back!

11:06 Someone NEEDS steering fluid. It was like nails on a chalkboard.
Anyway, cool camper!

I would love that RV
Is it hard to get spare parts for those rvs.??
Engine parts would be a greater problem. Since most of the old Isuzu N series in North America/Canada are rebadged GMC trucks and powered by Cummins or any American diesel engine
Good RV find

@@Gargulmon wow I need the camroad!
@@GT6SuzukaTimeTrials me to!!
Isuzu made it 😂

@@wekapeka3493 ahh okay, i think a glass company suggested i do that too, rather than try and find rubber seals that fit
Please give some info. Where I can order one of those compact Japanese camper
Hello, my insurance is asking for the original manufacturer price MSRP for my 1994 Isuzu elf camper. Any idea what was the original MSRP?
Thanks
Perhaps you can email the camper builder in Japan using Google translate. Isuzu only makes the vehicle. A different company makes the camping body.
Very nice!!! How do finance one of these?
is that a right hand drive vehicle??
I would use the back bed as my bed good camper van
How do you access the engine?
Interior view starts at 7 mins
can register that in the USA
so cool
Any chance of a walkthrough of your yellow truck
There's a video on the channel. Look up "BB Open Deck".
How to purchase this or one like it
How can you access on the engine?
How tall are you? just curious about headroom for me (im a freak at 6'7")
I think he’s said 5 10/11
Hi, I would like to buy an RV from you, do you have a website where a human can purchase 1 RV from Japan to California USA?
How much do the run ? Approx $$ ?
pacific coast auto can you please put the winning bid price? that would save so much confusion! thank you !

182cm is a bit short for a bed, there should be a slideout for the feet, so taller people can sleep there too.
Review on the Delica 🤔 i is it leaving
