Never in my 35 years have I seen a Casablanca with five cane blades spec’d. Never. Stunning, and it was NIB? Wow. This guy finds some rarities.

Whoa, Is that Spirit Of Saturn 4 blade? :O
Casablanca shipped all Saturns with the ability to mount 4 blades or 5. 4-blade fans are 1970s/1980s aesthetic, 5-blade fans are 1990s/2000s aesthetic. I prefer 4 blade fans with rare exceptions like this special edition Panama.

How do you convert ceiling fans into more speeds and aesthetic low
With a Zing Ear model ZE-268S5 pull-chain switch and type CBB61 capacitors. I determine the appropriate capacitor values using trial-and-error or a capacitor substitution box. If you want advice for a specific model fan post a comment.

I, too, tend to prefer 4-blade fans. The Spirit of Saturn is one of the few I prefer with 5... but this finish is my favorite and I'm surprised to say I think it looks lovely with 4.
