I would love to see you fix a lot of those items like that cake to make them look a little more realistic. That cake just needs the holes filled in and repainted. I love how realistic you make food items so I know you can do something with that cake. Love your videos.
Mattel should do Barbie backdrops like different scenarios, outdoors, Barbie Cafe, mall, etc. but just backdrops, maybe a trifold? Would be so fun!

This comes out of the general knowledge that glue can be soften and taken out, so what if you try to use hairdrier on the packaging glue and see if it can be removed? I really don't know if it will work, but I definitely would do it in low heat at first! Most of the packaging is always pretty!

If you watch her video on creating magnetic wallpaper, it’s the same concept but you’re printing instead of using scrapbook paper. You print whatever you want on magnetic printable sheets, cut and attach.

On the workout stand you made you could do a few different pictures like the one pose you did and put two tiny holes in the top and maybe make a toothpick painted black to stick through the foam board then add a shelf at the top of the stand to hide the toothpicks and just switch them so you didn't have to turn it around for another pose. And you're done.❤

Cute laundry playset, but wow that is pretty pricey... I'd expect that if it came with a doll, but I think $15 would be more reasonable considering the smaller playsets are like $10 - such as the ones with two pink chairs, the dishwasher set, and the hammock set, plus the new ones in this video. I completely agree with you about the birthday set. The decorations do seem out of place, and no matter what you do, something is going to have visible holes (be it the cake or the presents on the table). The hospital and sport sets are so cute - love that trampoline! And your workout mirror is awesome!

I wonder if you could cut the plastic bubbles off to do minimal damage, scan the backgrounds (do a little clean up the plastic areas in a photo editing software, and then print them out. Then, you could remove the plastic and glue the image over the background. Just a thought...not sure if you've tried this before but it seems a shame to lose such cute backgrounds.
Very interesting. Also I have been getting some mini Kawaii, I got some new items while some are doubles. The new items I got are Pup soda, Snow Bunny, snaxolotl, poodle in my noodle, bunny bento box, kitty burger, Valentine Pizza, while my doubles are..Daily Grind Coffee, Juice Goose, Pug Chips, and Pixie Donuts. I am so loving these items & cannot wait to customize my pokemon Alcremie, her cafe will have these mini brands as sweet desserts.
As for the plant nets, I paid a visit to Michael's and sadly they were the wrong size so I put those back. Do you remember what size you used for your hanging baby crib?

i was literally at the store today and saw the naturalistas and was so taken a back by how beautiful they are i don't have any dolls myself ever since i was much younger but wondered if they would be able to fit barbie clothes???

Toya have you ever tried to remove the sealed plastic of the boxes rubbing acetone? I saw Hotwheels collectors doing that so the packaging won't be damaged!!!
Oh and PS … I’m thinking a bit of soft sheetrock spackle (dollar tree) or wood putty or Mod Podge mixed with toilet paper could fill the holes. Then followed by some glue gun magic and paint, that cake could take on a whole new look. 😊

I'm probably the only collector that leaves a Made to Move doll alone. I did it once because a doll's body was damaged. Don't plan on doing it again. Not every doll in my collection needs to be articulated. Buying all those dolls to use as body swaps adds up.
I’ve never done any, so you’re doing better than me! I have some that bend at the elbows and hands, but I really don’t care for the look of them. 🤷♀️
@RinasAMaker I get it for pictures, but most of the time, dolls are going to be displayed on a shelf. I see collectors who spend a lot of money on a collector doll just for the head. Off topic most of the time, I don't see it when a collector thinks a doll is wonky. They are just being picky.
@ Yes and Toya really does cool photography with hers since she’s able to position them so many ways. I do have 1 that I’d like to change, but only because she’s in that awkward “model muse” body. I absolutely love her face, just not her body. She’s the 50th Anniversary Red Corvette Barbie. Her face is just so sultry. But since I’d have to order the MTM Barbie online, I’m worried about matching her skin tone to a body I can’t physically see. 😊

Concerning the problem of the plastic molded to the background ruining it: have you ever tried taking a photo of the background while the plastic is still attached to turn it into a printable? Would this work?

These playsets are okay, but I prefer the Ken laundry room and bathroom playsets I bought a few years ago. Ken even had (shave-able) facial hair!
