The Bronco identified as a Pinto.
Oak leaves in the heater box. Didn't start till I turned the fan down then it really started to smell like fall with the burning leaves. By the time I pulled over the cab was engulfed & there was zero visibility but that was it for the shop truck.

Yes. Its very save to keep a distance with a fueltank involved. But even from this save distance you can take prefentive action. There are fire extinguishers that can overcome yards of distance. At least have them standbye. No hazard to the trees!!! At this pointt!!
If the tank explodes it will spray burning fuel. Now? While we are safe we can observe. Just fuel on the ground burning? Stay clear. But close to a tree or brush? Prevend a ??? and use one. Ps. Its possible to fill certain types of extinguishers with water and supply it with your chinese no good low air compressor. When used, fill it up again. This is only for the woods. Car electric/car fuel needs other stuff. But a bit puzzled that i dont see an extinguisher standbye.
