th3azscorpio, the same for me. I am Virgo and I have this placement. Too critical is not the right way to describe the Virgos. Virgos have a very deep ethical sense! They need to live in a world where their ethics, their values will be respected and where they can concretely make choices and make decisions that respect their belief system and values, on a daily basis, to be happy!
The problem is, in this world where values are too selfish, too individualistic, the signs of self-sacrifice like Virgo and Pisces, are struggling to find a comfortable way to live and interact with others, while remaining true to themselves. So, their chances of living a healthy, fulfilling and balanced life are literally hindered, especially those from precarious families. This is why they rack their brain over how to fix everything.
So "improve things": here is the best way to describe a Virgo. Virgo is really about improve and fix again and again. And with Venus here is about to fix and to improve relationships, values, money.
Virgo love people, animals and nature. and i like making everyone happy (Virgo is the sign of service, duty, sacrifices, slavery and servitude). You can understand why they say that's Venus is debilitated there! And that's sad for us, because we are willing to sacrifice ourselves for the good of the others, without reward. But this attitude is misunderstood and this situation makes us fell unhappy.
Equally, just because discernment is our nature, we discern when what we give is not in balance with what we receive. And, there's no matters if noone notice our sweet attentions. But when we too need the same, if there's noone there for us, then we'll feel wounded. And yet, as we are willing to shut up our relationships faults, for the good of the others (Virgo = sign of sacrifice and self-giving), we would say nothing. And then, by dint of repetition of this attitude, ... everything will explodes. Because there are too many people who are happy to receive without give anything at return! They call that the "winner attitude" while self-giving is cold "loser attitude"! And because self-giving a characteristic of our Venus in Virgo, (except maybe for people who have the sun in fire signs or in Capricorn), we are exposed to this wound of the soul, many times in our life. Therefore, some Virgos loose themselves and become controlling, critical and dominating, by dint of trying to imitate the winner attitude.
So i just can't imagine what it's been like for a person who experiments prostitution. And i'm so glad for those who moved forward to that!
Venus in Virgo persons can do everything for the others, everything. As Pisces do, they have no sense about themselves, they are selfless, giving, caring, tireless dedicated other's welfare. They know exactly how to proceed methodically in an organised way to fix each issue in turn. For the others' sake and for themselves. I have this with mercury conjunct in the 12 house - I say its bad! I don't feel loved or appreciated by my 5 kids and partner I feel like a slave for them. Whenever I talk, my partner talks over me, if we argue my points don't get heard and he shouts over the top of me! In our group of friends no-one ever listens to anything I have to say or they even talk over me! I have had my Saturn return and now all that stuff mentioned above hurts more and I feel like running off with someone new!
