Today is the 5th anniversary of my sweet husband’s passing and I haven’t felt my best. Little things like y’all posting another wonderful mudlarking adventure, have made a world of difference. Thank you so much ladies. Y’all are the best!!❤❤❤
Although I am a non-smoker that yellow ashtray was very neat. Maybe it was from the 1930's. Love your channels. Haven't seen Sunny cat for awhile, hope he is well, give him a big hug. God bless.
The metal green leaf thing u found u could use as a decorative shelf in the dollhouse. Like the steam on the wall then items on the leaf. Like a fairy shelf
Hello Kate, you've mentioned your love of acorns, and I too love them, and the gorgeous oak trees they come from. I recently came across a video made by David Bird, who makes little "people" out of acorns, that he calls Becorns. He takes photos of Becorns interacting with birds and squirrels, and I find them magical and completely charming, and think you may as well! It's amazing to me, that he can put such personality into them. I just thought I would share, in case you didn't know about him/them. Cheers, Pamela 🇨🇦
Well thank you,I went and hit subscribe,a man in Chicago used to make beautiful key chains, other creations out of peach pits,my favorite was his Jesus key chains.
I'll have to watch Beacorn. My yard is full of acorns, and squirrels. Have about 40 oak trees. Beautiful shade trees. I really like the yellow ashtray. Looks like it is Art Deco❤👩🦳🌺
That mushroom button was so cute! You could cast it and make jewelry out of it and still use it in the nursery! I also love how you manage to find the smallest seed beads out of the entire beach!
GREAT idea! Mold star makes a really easy silicone mold kit that doesn't cost an arm and a leg! (I mean, there are probably affordable UK brands I don't know about, this was just the one I know of)
Such a fantasstic place for all kinds of treasures. I dont usually go much for the larger items...bottles and such, much prefering the tiny things. Ah but there are exceptions to the rule. I really liked that large amber bottle you found Fleur. It will be beautiful filled with flower's. Or as a place to collect things you find. Topped with a found lid of some sort. I'm looking forward to seeing what comes next ladies. Till then, i wish you a good break away. Enjoy your holiday. Xx
Hello Nice Video my Friends, Like the big amber jar☺️ the measuring bottle is Certo I think it's Used for making Preserves, marmalade, it's Fruit Pectin 🐦🌺💕🙋♀️
The bottle you found with cup sizes is a Pectin Measuring bottle by Owens Illinois. Pectin is used as a gelling agent in jams, marmalades and jellies. Nice find.
There was an absolutely gorgeous floral shred with bright florals on it. I bet it would have had a story behind it. I really felt that you should have taken it 👍🏼
we use those for lemon and oranges juicer. I always assumed that the Bona ring was a napkin ring to put cloth napkins in at the table. I never even thought they could be something else.
Oh how I wish I could fly over from America to pick up colored sea glass so my mom could use it to make her creations of wire and glass. Sea glass is hard to find where we live, yet this beautiful beach is so full. We(mother and daughter) love watching your videos together.
The little white pot initiated a 1960's flashback. I remember we got beef or salmon spread in a small milk glass type pot, maybe Shipmans? Love seeing your finds ... Thank you!
the little metal piece @ 5:20 looks like it could be an old-fashioned iron, the kind heated on a stove, for 1 of the doll houses. spring blooms are so lovely. thanx for taking us along.
The pomeroy lid made me google pomeroy cosmetics and I found a scan of a booklet from the 1930’s and it shows the lady emblem on the top of the lid. It was very stylised and very 1930’s. Think the lid came from their skin food. Love the videos they always give me something to google and something new to discover. ❤ .
That big amber jar is lovely!! If these are not the best things, then I'm excited for what the other finds will be!!! have a lovely week! kindest regards, k
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤That little metal triangle thing with a handle on the back your mom found could be used for a dolls hand mirror. Would be cute.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Those bottles with iridescence are so beautiful. If the iridescence survives rinsing let it air dry and then spray old fashioned hair spray. I used to use Aquanet on mine but i don't even know if they make that stuff anymore. Thanks for the wonderful video.
Love how your videos capture nature scenery. Must be so tiring on your back and necks searching for tiny goodies. Idea, when you find those white round coasters could you make them into stained glass windows for a doll church cathedral?
Just found your site via watching dirty secrets of Scotland I think you ladies are so interesting and very relaxing to watch you find interesting things I can't throw anything away like minded people thanks for posting you tubes.❤
I just had an idea: you could take some of your odd-shaped flat metal bits and glue them to a small board to make a map for a doll's study/schoolroom! I quite enjoyed your tale of the ghost-adjacent sherd. I really thought it would have been a Spode sherd story, but I don't know if that would have been as entertaining.
Dog dolls, hmm, bipeds or quadrupeds? Oh, that Johnson's Glow coat is neat! You aught to listen to some old episodes of The Fibber McGee and Molly Show. It's on UA-cam, and it was sponsored by Johnson's Wax. They used to have the sponsor worked into the story, and this show was a founding father of the American Sitcom formula. Glow coat was ubiquitous for a while.
I was debating whether the bottle had been bought over by an American soldier in the second world war but now hearing it contained Pectin I think that unlikely haha :)
Enjoy that venture out to favourite beach and wonderful small finds. Mum used to buy Princes Salmon paste and that was in those milk glass containers. She always kept them for me when I was young so I could put paint in them. The scroll reminded me of something my nan had and they were clips that you fitted to a square neckline I think back in the 1920's. I think its a bit big for an earing but who knows. Stay safe and love to all the Caboodlers.
As soon as the buds are on the flowers, bushes and trees, the enterprising bees are at work! Also, as soon as the tides go out the enterprising Kate and Fleur are also hard at work! Thank you Ladies! I love your channel! If I wanted to send you something, how would I go about it. Its a miniature for one of your dollhouses.
Bridgeton NJ is in an area rich with glass making/blowing history. The Wheaton factory was there and I have been to their museum - wonderful find so far from its beginnings
Ash trays with the spaces for cigarettes are great for painting you can rest the brushes in those spaces. Just love your videos. Lots of love from Diane in upstate New York ❤
I bet the beach your on would have all kinds of UV items on it. Have the two of you ever night marked with UV torches before I love those videos. I love all of your finds this week so nice and never seen before items.❤️
Maybe the measure bottle is for the nasty stuff you need to drink before your have som medical tests! The treasure beach did not let you down did it? You found some great finds! Please be careful and stay safe! ❤❤
The Scruit thing is an old electrical wire connector/insulator I think. You would twist the two bare ends of the wire together that you wanted to join, and then screw them into the cap and then tape over it. Quite a common thing an electrician would have in his tool-box. Not really that safe, but they did the job.
Could the amber bottle with the cups marking possibly be a jar of Pectin for make BG hand and preserves? We here in the US have Certa, which is a pectin for making jams. Kind of reminds me of that.
I may be wrong, but the large brown jar, reminds me of an urn used to hold the remains/ashes of a deceased person- especially when something like ashes appeared to be floating from it when it was emptied! Blessings to them if it was- but their lovely brown jar is quite lovely and fashionable! Wonderful find!
You found Kate a mushroom button. Piece of glass at 9:18 would make a cute stained-glass window, just paint it with a mixture of glue and food coloring. I like the glass knob bit at 10:39, could the broken glass be ground off and just the knob part used for a hat stand for the dolls? I also like the aqua stopper at 11:00 and the amber jar at 13:46 would make a great place to store small finds. The cute little white paste pot at 15:06 and the other small paste pot 22:58 I like also.
Psychologists have a test to determine how naturally creative people are - they give them a common object, and ask them to name off as many uses for it as they can. Fleur and Kate can always see uses for found objects that clearly make them creative people. P.S. Where's Sunny Cat? I just met a friendly new cat today and got to pet and scratch him - it made my day.
That drink's glass is a great find! I'd be repairing the chip with the resin I have 😂 That advertising ash tray is a cool bit of social history as well. That mushroom design is fantastic and simple. Lovely blackthorn blossom, sunburst lichen and deadnettles at the start! I like that beach dump... it has a good variety of finds!
Today is the 5th anniversary of my sweet husband’s passing and I haven’t felt my best. Little things like y’all posting another wonderful mudlarking adventure, have made a world of difference. Thank you so much ladies. Y’all are the best!!❤❤❤

intro is so beautiful
The metal green leaf thing u found u could use as a decorative shelf in the dollhouse. Like the steam on the wall then items on the leaf. Like a fairy shelf
That half cups bottle looks like one I found. Mine was a pectin bottle, American and a gorgeous yellow/green when cleaned.
Lovely, beautiful little treasures as well as the bottles, which were unique ❤❤. Thank you both for taking us along with you 🥰🥰🥰
The little dog head is lovely. It would make a lovely doll companion to your cat doll you did long ago.

You ladies are freaking awesome and I love your outfit⚘⚘⚘⚘⚘amazing videos ❤
The amber bottle with the half cup measures is a vintage Certo bottle - containing pectin used for making jams (I think?)
I really felt that you should have taken it 👍🏼
With the glass you could get glass paint and decorate it, it will hide all those scratches and make it beautiful again x
we use those for lemon and oranges juicer. I always assumed that the Bona ring was a napkin ring to put cloth napkins in at the table. I never even thought they could be something else.

The lemon squeezer is called a reamer.
Thank you for chilling me out x
the little metal piece @ 5:20 looks like it could be an old-fashioned iron, the kind heated on a stove, for 1 of the doll houses. spring blooms are so lovely. thanx for taking us along.
The little white cap with threads inside is a wire insulator that twists onto the end of bare wires to connect them.
.
If you put these two wonderful ladies in the middle of a desert they could find a seed bead
I was thinking a fire guard
Fleur cracking up in the background made me lol. You two remind me of my mom and I, she’s my best friend. ❤
Thank God its Spring
Brilliant finds and day out. Take care and thank you for sharing 😍🙏❤️
The yellow bottle with the 1/2 cup measures reminds me of a Certo bottle. It holds pectin used to make jam.
Those bottles with iridescence are so beautiful. If the iridescence survives rinsing let it air dry and then spray old fashioned hair spray. I used to use Aquanet on mine but i don't even know if they make that stuff anymore. Thanks for the wonderful video.
Love the mushroom button and the amber vase and the measuring bottle.
Love how your videos capture nature scenery. Must be so tiring on your back and necks searching for tiny goodies. Idea, when you find those white round coasters could you make them into stained glass windows for a doll church cathedral?
I believe the pipe bowls with castles on them represent the Royal Fusileers.
Very fun to see those,no matter what the condo on!
Condition (spellcheck)
What stunning glass and bottle finds. Beautiful video as always, Thank you my lovelies xx Teresa 🇦🇺❤
I agree with you about the amber jug being pretty sitting on a window sill.
Thank your another relaxing outing! Love you both so much!!!
Just found your site via watching dirty secrets of Scotland I think you ladies are so interesting and very relaxing to watch you find interesting things I can't throw anything away like minded people thanks for posting you tubes.❤
Wow I have just found David Birds videos. Watched the first one and the little Beacorns are wonderful Kat will love them.
Kate does love them :)
That little mushroom button 😍😍😍 oh my
You probably have a ground stopper to fit the small glass jar with the pontil.
I look forward to your wonderful videos, you make my week.
That Owens Glass bottle is from my area in New Jersey! That is such a neat find. And I personally am a sucker for old bottles. 😁
Thank you.
Such wonderful find's. Your so lucky to be able to find such tressures. Thank you for sharing!

Fun trip ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hello there, you two. Did I just hear Fleur
ask “ was the U S in the war ? “ !!!!!! Love you both ,as always.xxxxxxx
I was debating whether the bottle had been bought over by an American soldier in the second world war but now hearing it contained Pectin I think that unlikely haha :)
The lemon juicer is called a reamer. ❤️
In America,a reamer is used in wood and metal work to make a hole

I love the Pomeroy lid- so unusual and beautiful. I would use it on a wall as decor.

I 've been learning about this from Scott on The Old Curiosity Shop So interesting.
Ash trays with the spaces for cigarettes are great for painting you can rest the brushes in those spaces. Just love your videos. Lots of love from Diane in upstate New York ❤
The half cup bottle almost seems like a bottle for pecton for making jam.

There was any doubt that they are creative it's so obvious.
Sunny cat is lying in the Spring sunshine a lot as he lives up to his name very well :)

Great video ladies. Love the amber jar. The scroll could be a bookend for the dolls house. ❤
Was the back mourning bracelet jewel made of French jet? Loved the beach and trees in this episode. So beautiful!
It was glass but still beautiful :)
The chandalier crystal, beautiful. Really looking forward to watching you make the mudlarking chandalier.
I think forgotten lives did a piece on Lady Belvedere
