USING OUT OF DATE FOOD FOR A GREAT MEAL

Out of date doesn't mean it should bee thrown away, food can be frozen, chopped or even kept as tinned food can last way beyond the date that is on it. Best before is not the date to throw it away it just mean that item may not be at it's best beyond that date.

That's my kind of recipe - chuck bits and bobs into a pan and see what happens!
(Love that even the jar does double duty as potato smasher 😆)
For tins, most frozen foods, cheese and yogurt, I don't really look at best-before dates, except when it comes to which one I'll use first.

another brilliant video. im trying to use up everything whenever i can.
im off to collect another TBBT collection this afternoon. they are helping our food budget massively. not had much from olio lately but everything we get free/reduced etc helps us save our money. have a great day❤
