Excel Conditional Formatting for Past Dates | Everyday Office 071

In a big table of records (in this case, events), can we color-code our entries based on how far in the future or past the event was? With Conditional Formatting, the TODAY function, and the EDATE function, we can build calculations and color-coding for any date range we're interested in.

How would I set dates to expire 7 days after they are entered in the cell?
