Finally a beautiful Africa Twin again! Call me old fashioned but I only like bikes with round headlights. For more than twenty years we see those ugly insect like designs...
Es una gran idea, cuanto más parecida sea a la original mejor.El modelo rd 07 tricolor es el que tenemos en la cabeza de cuando ganó el Paris Dakar.Seria genial!!
Yes im in interest this model ,but if only be a old quality of motorcycle not new one alluminium engine in piston area, and not only plastic is week not strong.....
Great! I think these aggressive designs of the bikes today, they look like comming from a Marvel Comic I don`t like them....this is typical Africa Twin look however looks friendy, I love it!
Small point, but in 1990 they brought out the SECOND model, a 750, which had the same frame as the first model. The third model, also a 750, had a different frame and higher airbox like the one you showed in the first minute or so of the video and I think that came out in '93. I have a '91 marathon version so I know. I prefer the second model but years back I put a 750 lump into a 650 and the shorter swing arm and bigger 650 rear sprocket/ 750 front sprocket combo was a real improvement. Much better than putting a 15 teeth sprocket on a 750.
Love the AT but now far too much tec if you tour they will be fine but don't have the electrics fail in the middle of nowhere. Simple is king as is lightness I have a 2017 AT less tec I can pick her up if I mess up But most of tec now I would not use but too each his or her own
It looks heavier, at least visually, it also seems more uncomfortable and less versatile. The latest iteration of Africa Twin was quite aesthetically distant from the original language, it is true, but many of its differences are the result of constant refinement. For this improvement, it is necessary that the form respond to the function and not to appearance or superficiality. Let's think about what motorcycles were like before the first version of the Africa Twin, and we will realize that aesthetically it broke with convention. The same thing happens with the new Africa Twin, however they achieved a design right between classic and modern, which makes it timeless. Returning to the previous aesthetic would simply be a choice for fashion, for a current taste for retro, nurtured because after 30 years something becomes a classic, like almost any product. But we all know that being tied to a fashion is not the best way for things to last over time, on the contrary, it makes products perishable, by being tied to period tastes. I think that not being tied to a time period suited the current Africa Twin very well, which after so many years on the market are still aesthetically relevant. Additionally, it allows the effort and capital for a new iteration to be invested in substantial, non-apparent improvements. I constantly see proposals from the public, especially designers, who offer similar redesign ideas based on different existing models. Obviously, they are more interested in showing their creative abilities and aesthetic tastes than in proposing real solutions, to improve the use, ergonomics, functionality, practicality, and efficiency of the product. From my point of view, these designers can rarely be part of an important or at least real design team, because it is clear that they are not focused on solving problems, but on telling their preferences.
I just want an xr650r that is a 700 parallel twin with the same looking engine as the xr650r with electric start fule injection a hi exhaust like the 650 and same ergonomic designs to Handel same and better and more fule but nothing like a vstrom 800de to look at not a 50 50 but an xr650r true at hart I'd buy one tomorrow

Wow! With all of Honda’s history and racing they thought it wise to give us the lame duck XL750 Transalp?
What were they thinking? 🤔 .
That effort should be used by making it better

❤❤❤
Love ir
there are a lot of 2025 retro launches on youtube, are they real or just wishful thinking?
I like the new style.leave the past in the past
Keep it 750cc or its pointless
They have totally ruined my favorite motorcycle!!! I would never buy one! The 2025 anyway!
Nice, but get rid of the DCT. Allow people to choose.
The actual AT is way to expensive and Transalp boring and emotionless.
So ...fake😂
fake news
