Very surprised at Boro topping the list. Leeds I can understand being expensive due to being a PL club a couple of seasons ago. Full grounds generate atmosphere. Prior to McKenna's arrival at Ipswich Portman Road was half-full at best. The club introduced a scheme called Pack Out Portman Road whereby all adult seats were £20. The ground soon filled up and spectators were treated to Ipswich winning promotion to the Championship.
We've been really expensive for years. Were getting averages crowds of 26-27k for last 2 years. Which in terms of a ratio of the population is amongst the highest in the country. Middlesbrough is also one of the most deprived areas in the UK
Boro is always an expensive club despite being one of the poorest areas
As a blackburn fan i have just payed £350 for my season ticket and theyre also doing a lucky draw where 600 people will get their season ticket for £300
I think Ben might have looked at an article from last seasons prices. Tbf it's the top google search when you type in 'Blackburn Rovers season tickets'. £350 deal still on until June 22nd.
Sounds better as £429 is a bit steep , Ewood Park holds 31,000 and seems to scrape about 13,000 gates;I thought they'd be matching Preston or-further down-Bradford City -who sell the otherwise empty seats for good value/low priced season tickets.. Better a tenner a game than nothing I would have thought.
My early bird season ticket for over 62 at Millwall was £280.00. Brilliant value for a London club.
Hillsborough what a joke WAWAW
I’ve learned from the past season that there’s a balance to be struck as if you go too cheap, people buy season tickets who miss a lot of games. So even when you “sell out” there’s empty seats everywhere.
Paid £329 for Cardiff (early bird) and have TV quality seats, very good value
By the way lad, has Erol bulut signing a new 2 year contract and the new added coaching staff to Cardiff possibly effected your predictions for them? Less time to work with now of course but managerially things are looking quite good now.
I have the “cheapest” championship season ticket. I was lucky enough to meet one of our new owners at the start of last season. When I went to renew my season ticket, that would have cost me £554, he gave me it with his compliments. So my season ticket is £0.00, which is great value lol
Boro is expensive but the club has no debt.
Paid £440 for my ticket for next season. (Derby) Anyone paying under £15 per Game I think you obviously feel its value for money. I see it as you are just stopping growth at your Club. £18 - £20 per game is acceptable.
£505 to watch Rooney get us relegated
got mine yesterday for argyke was 505
This season you should try and keep up with every club’s twitter accounts and rate them
You should do one on price of away tickets last year lol
UP THE BORO !!
My ST at Cardiff usually cost £329 this year it cost £375
Mine went down in price as I turned 60. It cost £229 or £9.50 a game for the early Bluebird. Wahey! 🎉
I think boro won the family award again this season, it’s the clubs aim to make it a safe place for families so they charge high prices to keep the hooligans out.
Keep hooligans out of Boro ? I’m guessing you’ve never been to Boro 😂😂😂
I paid £59 for my Cardiff city season ticket
The most expensive season ticket in the championship in one of the most poorest areas in the country, we mentioned this to club a number of times but they don’t seem to budge much
Yeah it doesn’t sit right, no one should be paying that much for Championship football
@@BenHD have you been to the Riverside mate? As a boro fan I met some preston fans and thought they were alright
Do u live In Bradford or something
@@Lizard123 nailed it
mine was £292.50 at bramall lane as I turned 60 at Xmas
Leeds have close to 30k capped on season ticket waiting list and plan to start expansion to 55k next summer, tell me where I can get st at £400 odd please🤷♂️
As a U19. As i'm 17. ST holder at Bristol City. I pay £130 in the centres of the South Stand.
Stoke do free away travel and have done for years, unbelievable for fans
Love that
Think this year will be there 16th year pal
Preston's ticket price is outstanding value to see championship class football played every week...in away colours 🙃
Up the Boro!!! Smashing the league!!
And sisters
Only time they will be
@@connorswainston4563say hello to her for me. UTFB
Having owners local an rich have actually spoilt the fans ,
Not only have they kept season ticket prices affordable also put on free away travel for many years
May have made some dodgy recruitment choices an poor management selecting however i'd take both and keep our owners coates family ( prefer championship football ) more games , no var , better banter with outher fans .
Oxford as 3 stands an a car park still in better shape than old trafford 😂
Who do Boro think they are charging prices like that in a less than affluent area?? Delusions of grandeur.
Amazing content Ben
Complicated at Hull. Works out for me £13.50. Different ages different prices, can get tickets for as little as £3 rising to £7 & £10 depending on your age. All decent value 👍
Away fans get a good deal too, hope Preston remember that this season 😉😂
Brought my season ticket at the cheapest early bird price back in January for £630 (Sheffield Wednesday), this was an increase of £95 from the season before. If I wanted to buy the same ticket today the cost would be £810 in the South Stand which is ridiculous.
I believe season tickets and away traveling supporting tickets should be capped to a maximum price, clubs can decide to price tickets lower than the capped price.
Reasonable price for the most expensive part of the ground should be no more than £450, the most a club should charge away support is £25.
Its gone on too long where football fans are getting ripped off.
I’ve always said that chansiri needs to suck it up and reduce ticket prices, in an attempt to sell out hillsborough each week. That crowd is the definition of a 12th man when sold out, and god knows what we could achieve if it was always a sell out. Pity chansiri is too money orientated to see that
It’s ridiculous how much is season ticket is Me and my dad used to get one for about 500 pound or less and that was about 7 years ago
I am Sheffield Wednesday fan
Seems like a lot. Especially since Hillsborough doesn't sell out. They should probably drop to £350-400
£119 for under 17-18 yr olds at west brom
some very expensive ones there. im glad our early bird is 294. if the day comes that we'd have to pay 450 i'd refuse and ditch. far too expensive that. very glad preston have brilliant value for money
It was only after years of fans asking for cheaper season tickets and the club repeatedly saying they wouldn't make a profit that tbeh finally brought out cheaper season tickets in 2022/23. Before that there were only 7,500 season ticket holders
£505 for Wayne Rooney ball, no I feel mugged right off.
Wendy's greedy sods what they buying them wiv food vouchers 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
May we have this in English, please?
oxford haven’t released them yet
Ahh must have been last seasons numbers I was looking at, you'd hope they don't increase them by much
Under 20 quid per match at elland road, not bad I'd say at this level
PNE/Accrington Stanley fan but follow Blackburn and Burnley. Don’t have a season ticket, but saw on Facebook that Blackburn’s season tickets were to be £30 cheaper to commemorate 30 years since Winning the Premier League, so would have been £459 otherwise.
No championship season ticket should work out to more than £20 a game. Waiting to see if my club will reduce season ticket prices since our relegation to league one
Blackburns Season Tickets are £350 for any of the lower stands which I think is a fairly good price.
They wacked ours (bristol city) up far to much imo. We constantly finish mid table, how can they justify this new price
I always pay for my season ticket in early bird regardless of what league we are in and I understand not every fan are able to do that
Stokes season tickets have been frozen for last 15 years and we also do free away coach travel for ALL away games
Plymouth Argyle season ticket for an over 65 £ 315.
Leeds also capped the amount of season tickets sold to allow fans to buy match by match
UTB come on it's still chicken feed.
9:35 £513 per game is a disgrace by Sheffield United
They'll have more money than Man City!
It's £513 for the season and £22.30 per game.
@@andy-wn1hq I think Kieran was just making a joke at Ben's expense.
Missed you too big man
Good to have you guys back!
£430 for a season ticket at Leeds? Id love to know where? Mine is £700.
East stand upper, which started with 8 rows at the very top in Bielsa's first season at £349. Price has gone up in the last 2 years and is £434 now. I think there's about 12 rows now, but due to a waiting list of nearly 30000 you'll probably be years before you can buy one.
The 2 men who now sit next to me had been paying over £700 just a few rows lower, but they moved up last season
@davemidwood4053 crikey, there must be only a handful of tickets available at these prices
@@lukepickering1201 it's more than an handful. I'm not sure how many rows, but it's at least 8, all along the top of the east stand at both sides of the hospitality seats. Mines next to the hospitality seats and it's number 69. So 8 rows x 69 seats x 2 both ends = 1344 seats. But like I said I think it's more rows now than when it started
Sunderland isn’t 440! Its £420 I’m in main stand and that’s main price for people only more if you sit in more comfy seats
Assuming that’s with some sort of discount, the official website says adult season tickets start from £440
@@BenHD I’ve just came back from ban early bird even cheaper then £420, £420 is the price for fans
come on the mackems give them away for a quid each to schools to boost there attendances
@@jocraigdodsworth8024 you support boro so don’t think you can talk about given tickets away for cheap hahah, also quid to school not a thing but keep telling yourself that one 🤣🤣 I get offered boro tickets each weekend to sell
@@connorswainston4563 you put hotdogs in a burger bun :))
