I would say the best way to earn the respect of your peers is by demonstrating a good grasp of your craft and adding value to your organization and your team; that is by being a great BA. That is the first thing I would focus on. In the short-term, I would try to be nice and professional.

This is exactly what my business analyst lead wants me to do. I find it so frustrating, since I am only 4months in this role and only have experience with UAT! I wrote the requirements, and now she wants me to conduct the regression and SIT testing and write the report. She insists that the business side does the UAT themselves. I don't even know where to start, now looking for another job. FYI, my team has a tester

I am responsible for the organization of the UAT. So for the regression tests. I have the feeling that the testers don't take me seriously. What can I do about it? How can I establish a connection with them? So that they perceive and respect me in my role.

I test a lot as a Sr. BA, it depends on where you work. We don't have a QA team.
