Thinking you might stay home and sketch? Here’s some sketchbook ideas for you to try. How about sketching some shoes? They really are great fun to draw and there is such a variety of them to choose from. If you have a bit of time on your hands this might be just the thing for you.
If you are finding it hard to figure out what to draw in your sketchbook you might like to try giving it a theme. Mine is based on the alphabet and you can hear me explain more on that here

I'm enjoying making smaller pieces in my sketchbooks a lot right now - it doesn't take as much energy as my big pieces and gives me a lot of creative joy.
Hi Annalisa! Creative joy - that's what it's all about! I've been turning to my sketchbook more often too, but I think I tend to spend even longer fiddling with each page . I think it is what you are saying about it taking less energy so it can be more engaging

I love the theme of your sketchbook! All of my sketchbooks are themed now too I used to have a few that were all over the place but its been organised for a while now and its so much better xD I loved the concept of these pages and I always love listening to you talk You're really entertaining hehe Great video as always Kerrie!

The alfabet idea is so cool! And the 'thongs'-story is so funny hahaha. And I'm really fascinated by that pen, I've never seen a blue mechanical pencil before! This video was very entertaining and calming to watch. I really like the basketball shoes but the entire page turned out very well!

Oh Elf, it's like you know me already... I do ❤️shoes!! I agree, hands are tricky, but so expressive... actually maybe that's part of why they are hard

Thongs are dangerous. I have fallen down stairs because of the thongs. I tend to not do anything that requires care in thongs because I am a pretty clumsy person so I am bound to hurt myself, lol. I use to have some cork shoes like the ones you drew but because I am tall, I tend to not wear stuff like that, plus I can't walk in heels or shoes like that, I would do an ankle, lol.
