They didn’t mention that when you are going to dip your fingers in warm wax then you should dip your fingers in cold water first... Its still hot you know?
maybe warm wax isn't that hot?
@Gabrielle L I don’t really know what type of wax they used but I never knew any wax that is still clear and watery when not hot.

@@gabriellel1118 because this is fake, they heavily edit these videos and provide a lot of misinformation to their viewers. Please don't dip your delicate fingertips into hot wax without personal protective gear like thick, strong gloves that won't melt in hot wax.

These look great but I need sO much more information. The candles look interesting but too much info missing. Temperature, sourcing products etc. Which is a shame. Great video though. How did you clean the beaters, did the wax become congealed on the whisk... that would be my nightmare!

Yeah we have a bunch of those little wax warmer things that you plug into the wall, and sometimes they drip. But I came up with a couple of ways to clean it up. One way is to use one of those drywall spatulas to scrape it off, or use a hair dryer to heat it up so that it melts, making it easier to clean up.
@@rabid_eagle i knocked a candle warmer of the microwave and it went all over my back door and tile floor.. since it was vanilla, i could hardly see it.. just fumbling around with a spoon tryna scrape what i felt.. then used a scrub brush

Has anyone here actually tried these? Most of them don’t seem like they’d work
Half of the content Blossom pushes on UA-cam, Facebook, and snapchat is fake and hyperbolic. You're right to be suspicious. They're taking advantage of UA-cam's algorithms for content farming and views/subs.
As a candle maker, I can say that while some of these are clever and creative, some of them won't work and are borderline dangerous. Just use common sense and do some research before attempting anything from the videos.

@@priyankachandra it's made of wax they've dyed pink. The thing they used to make it shiny was probably a metallic mica powder or a pearlescent pigment powder.
The powder was probably gently rubbed or brushed onto the wax. Powders like that work best on decorative candles.
If you intend to use a powder like that on a candle, always make sure the powder is not flammable first.
They will never ever work

While some of these are clever, some of these are borderline dangerous. I was always taught that your wick should never be more than an inch higher than the wax of your candle, and should never be fully exposed, or left standing freely if you have the intention to light it. It's a good way to burn your home down. Please just use common sense when making/attempting these
