Neo may I kindly ask why you stopped uploading on your other channel I’m aware it’s your decision to to not upload there but it would help your old viewers if you maybe post on the community feed and tell them you moved on your whatever the case is but at least give them some clarification but i completely understand if you don’t take my suggestion or even give me a reply but hearing a clarification from you is better than someone else saying it’s your choice no the person saying for you but thank you for your amazing videos have a wonderful time with this channel and I hope for the best for you
Yes it would. I have mud Terrains tires (285/75/16) with OEM 16 inch wheels with a 3/2 lift. I get 16.5 to 21 MPG and I have a manual as well. The rear end has a 4.30 ratio. With that gearing you can shift earlier and still move reasonably well.
Awesome review, great looking and performing truck but just want to say still has drum brakes in the rear and tbh even for a manual truck with no load you did a 10.5sec 0-60. I get practice makes perfect and manuals are slower than autos but that's just pathetic especially for a 2020 truck that costs 60k Canadian. I know the Tacoma is a slow mid size in general but Toyota have to do something with the power. Ford ranger (270hp 310 Trq 4cylinder), Chevy Colorado has more power and more torque and even the Nissan frontier has only a 17 hp difference and that VQ engine is old af. Either way I get the appeal with Toyota reliability and it really is an awesome truck in a lot of ways but they have to update the power and put disc brakes in the rear before I consider buying it. Also good choice on the manual lol only 5% of Tacoma's are sold with them.
14MPG is bad lol it's like you driving a Tundra already hahahaha i got a cement gray 4door, automatic transmission 2018 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport 4x4 with a camper shell and 4inc lift. Mine got leather seat, gps system, sunroof etc etc.... mine still get average of 18.5 to 19mpg still.
I also have a 2020 Trd Pro Manual. In general I get around 18.5 mpg mixed. It's really hard to get it any higher since at highway speeds of 70 mph, it burns exactly 12.5 L/100 km (18.8 mpg). At 55 mph, very steady driving may increase it to 20-20.5 mpg. I really wish I could squeeze more efficiency out of it, but I feel that in comparison to smaller trucks from 15 years ago, I have 100+ hp more than those, and probably better mpg than they had.
My automatic 2020 trd pro (white) averages 17.5 MPG (winter rn, spring soon) Edit: i thought manual worked vice versa, thought it was suppose to be better on MPGs
Hello I’m really curious to know all of the info and packages on your truck! I’m looking to buy a Tacoma as well and I’m wondering if I should 2020 or an older year
You can change the color of the truck to match your paint for the camera I did that to mine. I thought it looked odd for it being white and did a little digging and found that it’s a option.
It uses the Toyota service menu on your screen. Start the truck and let the screen load fully to the home screen. Then locate the headlight switch and the audio button on the head-unit. You hold the “Audio” button while flipping the headlight stalk between auto and on (The middle two options) three times. Then it loads a menu with 4 options choose “Function Check/Settings” there you will get and menu of the colors. Then you just choose “Amethyst” and hit okay. The get out of the menu just turn the truck off and restart the truck then your all set! Your welcome.
Excellent! This worked, and I was able to make the truck show up green like mine. It was under the “camera settings” of that service menu. Thanks so much! Now if I could change it on the dash info display! Haha!
Fred Lentz That was one of the very first mods I did lol! I still haven’t figured that one out for the middle display. Anyway glad to help I thought it looked odd being white. A friend of mine actually helped me he’s a service tech at Toyota.
It is very satisfying having it match the color of the truck - the white bothered me too! Very Gucci, if you ask me. That is an excellent discovery! You have a good friend - keep that one around! HAHA! I’ve done quick searches on TW and haven’t found anything pointing to that menu, so it’s great to know - one of the more useful things I’ve seen. Only other things I’ve done are all LEDs inside and out (I have a 2020 Pro, so didn’t have to deal w headlights), door sill protectors, and added the OEM LED bed lamps. Still want to get a Diamondback tonneau and rock sliders, but no rush on those.
So glad you stuck with MT. I get 18+mpg city 22+mpg hi-way. Modify the intake(more air)add 3" catb-exhaust.I drive the mtns in Colo.w/MT(add Pedal Commander?)mpg will improve w/more miles on new truck.

What happen to train.
Ya
I think it is a look out for the train reference or he said that because he wanted to
@Tyler Anthony toxicPERIOD
I know right?
Seems like your most of your dislikes would be solved with the automatic but I get it.
Your mileage would be better if you shifted earlier! Not at 3k, but at 2200!

You know this looks familiar that voice that look it looks just like someone I haven't seen uploading vids in a while
And with a British railway name in it ...
Something that starts with a G... 🤔
It had studios in the name ...
GWQ Studios I think
G W and what?
The average for this truck on the highway is about 22 MPG

Need another up date 90% sure I'm getting a trd pro in about a month like to know how yours is holding up
I get 22 most the time, and 18 when I’m driving harder than normal
I also have a 2020 Trd Pro Manual.
In general I get around 18.5 mpg mixed.

Neo auto why did you stop posting on HER studios?
Then why didn’t
he say he’s gonna stop
Ya
@Tyler Anthony for the amount of people that were subscribed to that channel I respectfully disagree
HER?
The possible reason why is so he can focus on other things in his life. Here, is what is current focus is on now. We’ll let you know if he comes back.
Manual is actually worse then the auto on mpg unfortunately..
Is all the lights LED on that manual transmission? And does it have heated steering wheel? Thinking of getting on next year
I love my 2010 today as much as the day i bought it.
Manual or auto?
My automatic 2020 trd pro (white) averages 17.5 MPG (winter rn, spring soon)
Edit: i thought manual worked vice versa, thought it was suppose to be better on MPGs
Neo Auto Studios 😔*rip*
He’s still uploading here.
I think you and Chrisfix should collab
seems like the manual shifts nicer than earlier years of the thrd gen
Justin Y
If you put a cover on the bed and shift a little earlier your mileage should improve by 2-3 mpg
The automatic is tip tronic, automatic buyers can use it when going up hills.
Don’t feel bad about the mpg, my 06 Dakota with the 4.7 V8 only does about 15 in mixed driving, it’s all about the smiles per gallon 🙂
looks like fun!
HOW IS THE GAS MILEAGE NOW?
7:13 see you paul walker
yup, this thing gets worse mileage than the last gen. gearing sucks too
Intro sounded like the Friends intro kind of lol
What did you pay out the door?
Why don’t they offer a Manual in all packages?
Its only available on the TRD Sport, TRD Off Road, and TRD Pro. Guess they only make it available on the most popular models.
Hello I’m really curious to know all of the info and packages on your truck! I’m looking to buy a Tacoma as well and I’m wondering if I should 2020 or an older year
GW our studios
I just wish the camera resolution was better. But nice truck overall!

Valkorion T How did you do this? Can’t find that option anywhere.

Yes. I bought one recently. I live in the Vancouver area.
Kosh Naranek Really!?
I am Japanese and live in Japan.
I want to import Tacoma into Japan.
Kosh Naranek Is that 20-20 tacoma?
@@snipermonkey9177 Yes, 2020 TRD Pro manual. Ordered in October and picked up in December.
Kosh Naranek It seems that it will be late to order from Japan to Canada.
I want to buy it as soon as possible.
