The sad thing about the town is how empty it is now , check out the same sort of travel vid from the 60s / 70s and you'll see what a vibrant busy town centre Leamington once was ........heaving is a good description .
@@travelwalkstv In Leamingtons case i have to tell you i'm a Leamingtonian born and bred , and i know the town intimately after being a town postie for 8 yrs . I've seen buildings go , empty shops the doorways of which are used by beggars , car parking greatly reduced and STILL reducing and the whole thing overseen by an incompetent town council .....they've destroyed the place , some sunday's you could probably play tennis on the parade . That doesn't detract from your excellent video , the town needs ALL the good publicity it can get . I do urge you to look how the town used to be in the films uploaded by Ken Wilkins . Ken was a Leamington postie the same time as myself , he was also an accomplished artist and well known cartoonist having a regular slot in the local courier ......have a look and compare , you'll be shocked .

@@roystone9932 It's true what you are saying. It's a shame how our towns once used to be heaving, but not as much anymore.
