You have to select cruise mode and press the speed up or down button to set it at your current speed, then you can use the activate/deactivate to set and unset at the speed you selected
Couldnt agree more. these days petrols are just if not sometimes more frugal on fuel than diesels. plus..... that smelly petrol pump when filling a diesel is annoying lol.
The problem is, that as soon as you push a turbo petrol a bit, it gets very thirsty. So if you do a lot of fast motorway driving, tend to be a bit heavy footed in general, or need to pull a caravan, a diesel will still give you a much lower real world fuel consumption than a turbo petrol.
May be, but should we really justify diesel now unless we can benefit from doing +70% annual miles on the motorway with a caravan? In town, where most cars regardless of fuel type roam, diesels are catastrophic. Pay attention how everyone drives in traffic. The roar out with a lurch when the car in front moves and stop just as quickly immediately afterwards. Instead of a buttefly valve that opens wider in relation to the throttle, increasing the air and fuel mixture volume, diesels just increase their fuel injection The air volume remains constant (until the turbo kicks in). There is hardly any diesel now that is sold without a turbo.Anyway, that method to increase power brings excess fuel into combustion, this does indeed causes un-burnt fuel or soot. All diesels basically roll coal. The only thing stopping trails of foul soot is mainly the DPF, but constant city driving clogs them and causes to fail within 5 years. There are cars from Ford, VW's groups to Hyundai as new as 2011 leaving soot everywhere on Dublin's roads from failed to even removed DPFs and Catalytic converters. There has also been two taxi fires this year as a result of overwhelmed DPFs. Both being Skoda Octavias.
Actually the PureTech 130 was never added to the 208's range - it only appears in 110 form there.
looks great and that engine sounds incredible, little hint of a Hyundai front lower grill though.
Just had one but I carnt work out the cruise controls HELP

There probably are…. What so funny
128 bhp and 214 Nm? From a 3 pot petrol? Honestly, as if there weren't another sign that diesels are loosing out on its advantages.
