I've watched a lot of cutting hair video tutorials for beginners, but this technique seems to be the easiest. I think I'm ready to do my son's hair~ thanks for sharing ~♡ Have a great day ahead~🥰
I used your video to guide me in cutting the hair of this kid I babysit.. i'm having trouble with the step 6 and 7 because he is moving alot. holding the comb and hair at the same time is hard for me too. 🤭
Hi! It’s one year later, so your babysitting/hair cutting days might be passed or you’re an expert by now..either way, this may help someone :) i think if you wanted that step to be easier as far as holding it all at the same time, try looking at separate videos and search “palming your scissors” for him moving around or anyone, search “making and finding your guides in haircuts” or something along those lines. Practice a tad and there ya go, you’ll be able to do any hair cut with a tutorial video lol
I've been a hairdresser for about 7 years now and the scissor and comb thing always gets me. I literally put Velcro on my apron and my comb and I just stick it to the Velcro. You can also learn to use the clippers even for the top to finish out the fade.
My baby has two crown hair... And he's moving a lot. My husband and I think that cutting our baby hair at home will be a great experience... Hope we can do it lol
Thanks so much for this tutorial! Really appreciate all the work going in to this. I already know how to skin fade my own hair with like #4 with clippers on top but nothing much beyond that. This video helped me to give my dad the perfect "combover fade" gentleman haircut tapered down to #1 on sides. Because I already knew how to work the clipper the result came out fabulous, exactly how I wanted it. You got me excited to actually use the scissors a lot more now!! If I can recommend a clipper to anyone reading this comment: the Andis Envy cordless clipper works phenomenal for these haircuts. It's like a Wahl magic clip but works much better for these haircuts because of the blades and slower/smoother motor inside. Also very light and vibrates very little so comfort wise very nice for the hand. Even thinning hair will be easy to fade :)!
Well my 3 yo is going to be wearing hats for the next couple of weeks .
🤣😂😂😂😂🤣🤣😂😂 brooooo

I just using fingers without comb at step 7. So the finger thickness will be the hair length

Can you successfully complete this haircut without adjustable clippers? I have toddler clippers for my 6 year old son and they aren't adjustable.
