Miniature Vanity Doll Table - Dollhouse Tutorial

- Hi guys! Today we're making a cute, miniature vanity table :D As usual I went for a vintage look, (surprice xD) but you can change up the style and make it look however you like ^^ To make it as accessible to eveyone as possible, I tried to use very simple materials, so I mainly used popsicle sticks of different sizes for this project. I worked in 1:12 scale for this project to make it fit with the other furniture I've made previously, but you can make it to fit any doll.

Good to know:
I mostly work in 1:12 scale, but you can make them in any size you want and add headpins to make them charms :) I used a mix of the polymer clay brands Fimo and Cernit, but you can use any brand you like. The liquid clay I use is from the brand Fimo. My mold maker is from Siligum/Sili-put.

These tutorials are so charming. I enjoy when doll-scale furniture has functional drawers instead of just fake 'decorative drawers' glued on the front.

Great project! For those of us not so great at painting, nail decals are really good for adding decorative details also.

Just out of curiosity, why do you prefer using alcohol ink when painting details? Is it smoother than regular acrylic paint? I've never used it before and was just wondering.
Stephanie Hilkert I usually use acrylic paint but actually bought myself some alcohol inks yesterday and they do seem to be easier to use for detail work and go on a lot smoother and has a thinner consistency. Im no expert, but i thought id give you a possible explanation just from my own experience.lol

I don't think the measurements actually matter, the way she does it leaves it open to your own size and interpretation which I think is best.
