Theory 1. I was gonna say that the red thing for climbing was cursed because the scary hand monster didn't grab the climber the first time but then when she found the dead climber and took the red thing she died after that. But this really didn't add up when I got to the end. Theory 2. Once you look at or give in to the scary monster it takes over. Meaning when the hand was going to grab the climber, the climber looks away aka standing its ground against the monster. This, in turn, annoys the monster, so the monster has to become more cunning to take the life of the climber. So when the goat "falls off" the mountain the monster takes its soul. Then the monster becomes the goat. It is only when the monster looks at the climber without any glasses on, can it take the soul of the climber. Theory 3. The monster is the soul of the dead climber and it now haunts the mountain. When the climber was first approached by the monster it did not attack her because she had not taken anything from the dead climber's body. It is only when the climber takes the red item that the monster becomes angry and takes the climbers life. Also when you see the dead climber's body you realise it has no face and the only other human face you see is of the climber. Theory 4. I have watched too much Buzzfeed unsolved and have been quarantined for too long, that now I need to find things to do so making theories has been a way for me to past the time and not go utterly insane.
