College tuition is quite expensive now. This especially affects peaceful students who just want to continue their studies but can't, due to all the commotion and protests. This is not fair.

We did. Our son attended Columbia University and couldn’t take it anymore and we’re not Jewish. He transferred to a better non Ivy League school and is happier ready to graduate next month. The environment overall has been very toxic!

When it's on their propertty, they have the right and obligation to stop it - even when none students are involved. When it's off their property, it's the responsibility of the police - and for crying out loud call in the National Guard.

I'm surprised how many of my professors don't use the tech even though they now have it, and I'm grateful to my Linear Regression prof who used it every class, took questions from students who were in the room and online, and posted the videos every week. It was so helpful to be able to re-watch lectures to prepare for exams.
The real issue is that professors are stuck in the past. Students pay a fortune for college, and the amount spent to add cameras and mics to rooms is no joke. Yet often it sits unused--"Welcome to the 90s Mr. Banks! "
