I'm a mountain biker, thinking about getting a gravel bike. This is the bike I keep coming back too. I like that it comes with a dropper, and that it has a slacker head tube than most gravel bikes. The geo numbers on most gravel bikes scare me. In the mtb world, a 70° head tube means the bike is likely to eject the rider at the first sign of chunder.
Marin does make some really nice bikes. Still, for gravel I will stay with my Topstone with the kingpin rear suspension.
Super surprised at how fun and agile the alloy bike is 👌🏼 Unfortunately I had to give the Topstone up about a year and a half ago when I changed job 🥴

Hi. Thanks for the video. It's one I watched before recently purchasing a Gestalt XR. In my first few rides, I've had issues with dropped chains. Have you had any problems? I'm thinking about replacing the FSA Megatooth ring, as this seems the most likely culprit (having confirmed that the derailleur clutch is on and the chain length is correct).
Hi! I have recently bought one as well and have the same problem, did changing the ring change anything?
@@Iga_extra Given the limited options for chainrings with the odd BCD of the FSA crankset, I ended up replacing the crankset with Shimano GRX. No drops since doing so.

Hi Joey, it’s a size small and not sure of the weight 🫣 tend to just ride it!
I saw another video where it weighed in at 23.9 lbs. I believe it was a medium in that case.
