I own a Bravo since 2008 and never had major problems with it(now it has 220000 Kms in it), or nothing that could be avoided with care. For example it doesn't likes cheap H1 light bulbs. But thats about it, it is very reliable and fun little car and a joy driving long distances :). Btw and i own the 1.4 L 90 Hp and still getting speeding tickets every year :D
I recently bought a Fiat Bravo 1.4 T-Jet 16v from 2008 and I love it. Bought it at a dealer for 3900 euros and it has loads of features. Like parking sensors, panoramic sunroof that opens etc. Couldn't be happier. I did remove the Bravo badging on the back of the car and many people can't believe that it is a Fiat Bravo when they see it. Got it in black with the red brake pads.
I have owned Rosso Maranello (yes, that's the actual name of the color code) Fiat Bravo for two and half years. It's the sport model with T-jet engine and 150 hp. So far absolutely zero problems with it, it's fun to drive and cheap maintenance costs. 140 000 km's on the clock, the more I drive it the more I found myself liking this car! Relatively cheap, too.
Yeah! the only issue i've had is a grounding one mentioned in this video! The EGR valve has caused some little issues but a thrashing soon sorts them out!
Anyone considering it: do it. 10x better than anything else I could get for the price in my area. 150 bhp for the same money as a same-age 70 bhp Polo. 0-60 in 8.6. Really nice sports interior (except for peeling steering wheel, but I just peeled the rest of it off and it looks fine). 17" black alloys, sharp brakes, sharp looks - it still looks better than 90% of the cars on the road today. Solid MOT history. Turbo whistle to warm your heart. It's a lovely car, massively underrated by reviewers, but loved by people who own them. For reference: 2008 Bravo 1.9 MJet Sport, £2100, bought in December 2018 with 71,000 miles.
Yeah. Because of a myth, crappy German cars are overpriced, and stylish and better Italian cars are uderpriced. But for me it is a good thing (lower price).
I am from lebanon and bravo is rare and expensive car ive got my 2011 blu maseratti sport for about 37000 usd +tva from company 0 km and now its 102000km and still new no accidents...0 faults its an mazing car i have bmw 325ci convertible 2005...and abarth 2012...bravo is the best among all
Brilliant car I brought mine 3 years ago 120hp multijet sport active. Its just passed its 6th straight mot without advisorys, only ever failed on tyres and a broken coil spring in its history. Great looking car
I have the opportunity to take such a car fiat bravo 1.4 t jet 120 2008. I want to be told if the car is reliable? Is the engine reliable? Is the transmission reliable? And what should I pay attention to most often? 195tkm. Thank you very much!
My mum had the old fiat brava and my friends mum had the old bravo. They were good cars. I have always had a soft spot for the bravo MK2, whenever I see one in the UK I always take a second look. I think they are better looking than the Alfa Romeo Giulietta. They also seem pretty competent in every category, perhaps they are secretly better than the equivalent VW Golf or Ford Focus of the same era. The 1.9 and 2.0 diesel can be remapped to 200+bhp. The 1.6 diesel can be remapped to 150bhp.
The 1.4 MultiAir ones do need Oil changes all 15'000km (only use Petronas SELENIA 5W-40 K Pure Energy Multi Air) also change the MultiAir oil filters each time or your risk replacing the MultiAir unit. Still the advantage of the 1.4 MultiAir is the better C635 gearbox. The TJET ones have an Opel M32 gearbox, that can be problematic, if not properly serviced. On the other hand, the TJET's consume less fuel than MultiAir ones. If you are looking for a Diesel one, either pick the 2.0L 165bhp one the 1.6L 120bhp (same as Alfa Romeo Giulietta ones). Avoid the 1.9L Opel engine. Also check spings on early models 2007-2008. In general is it a very good car and very reliable as others already stated.
I checked what you are saying and it is not true. Opel has Fiat engine, and not Fiat Opels. Guy probably said Fiat has the same engine as Opel, and you misunderstand.
Hi guys pls I need a advice from someone who understands from cars, I'm planing to buy Fiat bravo 1.9 multijet, so can someone suggest me which year is the best 2008 or 2010?? And if is worth it to buy it... Thanks in advance
@@Wolf-Law77 I sold it after 2 years with 198.000km on the clock, the engine or mainly the turbo was slowly losing its life. But was a fun car, had a ragazzon end muffler for some bangs
This was great, thanks..i bought a 2007 1.9 td 120 last night with 64k on it..woke up today and the egr valve is playing up! Oh the fkn joys of motoring and decietful bastards..
one thing I don't like about the car is the interior feels very cheap and the materials disintegrate, fiat put all the money into putting a great engine in the car and making it look good but the build quality is just poor
I have 11 years old bravo and the interior is like new, everything is robust and good. But it is true that there is no that much soft plastic but overall it is handling good over the years.

i know it's hard to believe but bravo was the most reliable car built by Fiat.
Which engines are you talking about?
1,6 mjt
I see, thanks for info.
I'm about to get 1.4 16V Sport 90 pk 2007 what do you think?
DMR Builder Buy it. Very reliable, enjoyable car. I drive the 1.9 JTD 8V.
why post the title of the video and description in english then talk in another language?
It has English captions, just FYI

Ok Golf was made better and it's not an Alfa Romeo; but I have driven many times and she had a beautiful handling and it's really comfortable.
Does the Bravo suffer with Bluetooth failure like other FIATs with Blue and Me?

Anyone knows where the fuel pump safety switch is that he mentions? Could have shown that obscurity in the video.
