I live in Maine. And have some property that has really old rock foundations and rock walls. even hand dug rock lined wells. I mostly park hunt with my detector but I guess I will have to try looking for relics on my property. How are the ticks while detecting out in the woods like that?

You definitely need to protect yourself… wear boots, tuck your pants into your socks and wear spray if possible.
