This is really good, but I have one question..........When U say Jesus offered Israel an earthly kingdom, do U mean at that time ( During Jesus's first coming) or here at the end of the age? Bcuz, in my reading of the scriptures, I think it reads pretty clear, that Jesus did not come at that time to set up an earthly kingdom. He even expressed this to the Romans authorities.......”My Kingdom is not of this world". That was one issue many Jews had with Him. They were wanting an earthly kingdom......for Jesus to offset the Romans and give them back their independence. They took issue with Jesus for not doing so. Something theoretically, both the Jews AND Romans knew He CLD have done, if He chose to call together His prominent, wealthy, Alexandrian family on His Mother Mary's side. (If U trace HER possible Lineage, U know this CLD have been a sore point against Jesus with the Romans.) Whatever the truth, Jesus never capatolized on His Heavenly, OR Earthly royalty. He made it quite plain what His mission was....... The educated Jews were angry that He did not come to build them an earthly kingdom against Rome, whom He theoretically, was actually a great threat to, bcuz of His family's rule during the inter-testimental periods.
