All I can say is that we have become real "Coffee snobs" ever since we bought ours. We used to spend hundreds of dollars at specialty coffee shops but this particular model gives very hot, bold and fresh tasting coffee every time. We use the timer and the rich option, and only make "regular" coffee, so I cannot say how the frother or other options work

A couple things about milk frothing.
From my experience, frothing milk works better sometimes if you use 0% skim milk.
Also, if you heat the milk to 70 degrees ( not boiling), the milk stays frothed longer.
Sometimes it works good, sometimes it doesn’t.
Sometimes different brands of milk work out differently.

Good to know! I can see a bit of trial and error going a long way for this one. Thanks!

We had several Keurig makers over the years, every one of them made pretty good coffee, for a while. Then it would start doing goofy stuff. Long story short, we bought this Ninja model and we love it so far, if it lasts more than a year or 2 it will be doing better than our experiences with Keurig.

My main concerns with this line of models:
I worry about water trapped in the compartment under the removeable water reservoir. I saw a review with someone claiming they had mold in the 'unremoveable' part in the bottom of the reservoir, and I noticed standing water in the compartment under it (which is inaccessible, inside of the unit itself). And standing water can indeed breed bacteria.
Another issue I have is the shape of the decanter (coffee pot). The lip of the pot is rounded, with no point to help direct the coffee flowing into your cup. Looks like it might cause a very splashy pour.
The third issue is that it is a pain in the a** to clean each removeable part which you would probably want to clean regularly. Can't fit your hand into the coffee pot, but it is very comfortable in the hand while washing. Despite it not having a round handle. The filter holder isn't too bad, but does have a piece you can't clean behind without taking out the rubber ring inside of it. And the removeable reservoir... It is a royal pain cleaning it with the thumb and finger indents along one vertical side. Lots of interior corners and difficult to maneuver by hand while washing.

Coffee, spelled backwards is EEFFOC which is funny because until I had my coffee, I don’t give EEFFOC about anything

We just tried out this Ninja unit for the first time. Warmed up the milk first (vanilla almond beverage in this case) then frothed it and ended up with stiff peaks of foam 🤷‍♂️

My Drip Stop mechanism stopped working because the tiny silicone o ring is missing. Do you know the replacement part size this needs? I see so many similar size replacement o rings on Amazon.

I agree for $100+ I wish it came with a steaming wand instead of heating the milk separately.

Avoid Ninja coffee makers at all costs! We have owned one for two years and it is on its way to the dumpster. I have never been so disappointed in an inanimate object in my life. First off, when using K-cups, the lid doesn’t seal well, so when a cup finishes brewing the machine spits coffee all over the machine, cup, and countertop - grounds included sometimes! Second, whoever Ninja hired to design the thing has hopefully been relieved of their duties and is no longer employed with Ninja. Prior to this piece of garbage, I have never owned a coffee maker that operated if you forgot to place the carafe under it (you know where this is going). Unfortunately, people get busy and forget to place the carafe under the maker after it finishes drying. We also own a Ninja air fryer and blender - great products. Avoid their coffee makers like the plague!
