Its always nice ending in the movies. However real life sleepwalking can be tragic most of the time. I guess viewers tend to like tragic episodes more, maybe u can try. For example, the husband climbs up to terrace and jump off balcony due to sleepwalking triggered by enormous stress level, as per your description earlier.
