So yeah, this series is back. Shocking, I know. I've been so busy with other projects like D-Sides Lulluby and D-Sides MCM that I had to temporarily put this on hold. But now, it's back and with a bang! Using the same name as I gave the original concept months ago. Some people have made their own takes, but I think this will be the definitive one. Hopefully, the next one of these will be Gourmet Chase [Prey Kirby Mix]. 'Til next time. Toodles!

Fitting for kirby
Xenophanes, in an attempt to gain control in other world and defeat Boyfriend, had decided to invade Popstar and take the powerful souls that reside there. However, an older version of Kirby was in his way. Kirby proved to be more powerful than Xeno could manage, so, as a last ditch attempt, he broke off one of his own crystal spines and threw it into Kirby’s mouth. The dark, negative energy corrupted our favourite pink puff, and he went off to take out all of his friends. After kicking Xenophanes out of course. Can our sapphire haired saviour return peace to Popstar and save the Kirby Crew? Find out in Kirby Korrupted Krystals.

@@aubreytracey5396 No problem, of course Kirby would put up more of a fight than Sonic! Though, this story could have a happy ending, all you need is either a wish on a clockwork star, or Morpho Knight to bring their souls back to the living realm.
I think Kirby would have just wiped Xeno, with so little effort it’s barely negligible. Even as a baby. But Xeno would have thrown that crystal all the same.

i kinda love the way you executed this one (yeah yeah laugh it up), the lack of a high-speed drum line really makes this version sound a lot more bleak and desperate compared to the original song's fast-paced and climactic vibe, and i love that. for a game as bright and colorful as Kirby, the perfect inversion of that feeling is something that feels dire and hopeless and i'm ALL for it. great stuff!

@@nightmare_eclipse4933 I went with Aristotle because it is a name of a phylosophist, just like Xenophanes, and according to my 30 second investigation, he said some phylosofistic stuff about food or something, I don't really understand phylosophy lol (you know, because Kirby pretty much "eats" even his enemies/friends, there's even an ability in some games where you can legit cook the enemies to generate food for healing)
