@@ronaldzamora8850 While it has superficial influences from Ninja Spirit, it doesn't really play that much like it. It's more of a Treasure style boss rush.
It's a really nice game, although I'd like it to have extra difficulty options for replayability and some tweaks to scoring. But all in all a very solid action game!
The lightning attack takes some time to get a feel for. I think if you just move into the corner and then jump over it just as it reaches you, you should be able to safely avoid it. It can be tricky depending on the positioning though. I found the next boss, Genba Kisaragi, to be the biggest pain though. Between him and his clones, it's like there's always something teleport kicking or diving at you.
Excellent 1CC for such an aesthetic, reverent treat of a game---really the biggest shock on the emphasis on not being so sharply challenging was not going with the classic, Power Embracing, semi-permanence on the Kage Bunshin as opposed to the incredibly brief timer for it.
I've not finished the game yet, but Is the score made in every stage carried on until the end of the game? that would be biggest complain about the game since the score shows zero each new stage and would be a bummer if they would not sum in the end :-/
Yeah, your score counter gets zero'd at the start of each stage, and it never shows you the total. You can only find it in the ranking screen in the main menu and guess which one comes from the run you just did. Strange design.
Excellent gameplay and awesome find! Bog has been telling me about this bad boy so I'm going to give it a try tonight :-)
I get vibes from Shinobi (duh), Legend of Kage, Heike Clan and even Shadow of the Ninja too
Nahh, Ninja Spirits has a more influence on it than the other ninja games you mentioned.

Legend of Kage... Memories!

*non Grata* = not welcome(?)
Yes. Its from latin. Still exists in italian vocabulary although it means "ungrateful". We use "sgradita" to say "not welcomed".
Oni Agito keeps kicking my ass :( the two bosses after doesn't look nearly as hard as her.

Yeah I was surprised it faded out so quickly. It's a nice little power up though, you can appreciate the extra firepower for a little while.

Nice Slicing and Dicing 😀👍🏽🗡.
Nice game 😮
Looks like a great game, even with its 8-bit graphical aesthetic. Only thing I don't like is the SFX, which honestly sounds grating to my ears.
Game goes full throttle barely any breaks or pauses, very nice gameplay.
Any way to adjust the SFX volume? As good as they are, they're pretty loud.
Yep
When I was a kid we had ninjas and badass characters. Now we have anime, waifu uwu bullshit. This generation is cringe. I prefered the edgy one.
4:48 Shurato?
It was some buddhist chant which is also used in other animes and games.
