Thanks for the memories. I have slept at the backdoor of the Eagles Nest, with two other climbers in November, 1986. Gorgeous. On arrival by train from Munich, I did not have time to find my friends, so I walked to Konigsee, on return in the dark, I slept in a woodshed, got up at 6 am, and made my way to town, and to find my friends. I stayed for 4 weeks , photographs galore, so much fun. Loved it............
Thanks for watching Robin and for sharing your story with us! It really sounds like a wonderful adventure that you had. You were so lucky to stay there for so long, I wish we could travel back in time and see these places in the past with less tourism and development too. 😊 All the best!
You brought tears to my eyes with this video because I realized I visited Berchtesgaden almost the same exact dates in 1972 - yes, 50 years ago !!! PERFECT quality video ! Sorry Chano, I would sleep in too !!
Wow. I cannot believe that you’ve visited 50 years ago. Have the places changed a lot since you visited? We loved Bavaria so much. I prefer the smaller towns than the capital. 😅 Chano and I are glad that our video brings you good memories. 🙏🏽
Really happy that you enjoyed the video and that brought you beautiful memories too! But I cannot believe that you wouldn´t come with me for sunrise either 😂😂 I was able to convince Reigne in the next episode to come, but she was complaining almost until she saw the sun rising and the landscape appearing magically in front of us 🤣🤣
Hello! Thank you for watching. I won’t argue if I look like Lalisa Manoban. 😂 just kidding. I’ve been mistakenly greeted in Thai before but I’m actually a Filipina. 😅
thank you very much for watching and for appreciating our video! We´re glad to read your comment and wish you a wonderful time in the Bavarian Alps, you´ll love it there for sure! 😊
Thank you very much for watching our video and for appreciating our work! We are really glad to read that our content has inspired you to go to Bavaria. We posted more videos of our time in this part of Germany on our channel if you wanna take a look, we spent most of our trip in the mountains and little towns, and only 1 day in Munich, which was an interesting city we must say, but we currently live in Dublin, so we try to travel to more natural places as much as possible, and the Bavarian Alps are one of our favourite destinations in the world so far. You will love it there for sure. All the best!
Beautiful as always 😍 the church, nearby river, and beautiful lake towards the end of the video were my favorites. They were all so peaceful and serene. I also enjoyed how you put the dates on each new day of your journey too. It was fun seeing what the weather was like on that day. Thanks for sharing!
I have the same favourite. I would love to live in that quaint village. Most of the mountain houses have the sound of running water. I was just telling Chano to stop putting the dates. Do you think we should keep it? Thanks for watching again!!! You are so lovely. Your name really suits you!
@Reigne Or Shine I love the dates. It's fun to see the time of year you go, what the weather is doing, and how busy it is. And thank you so much for the sweet compliment 💓
Watching this vlog is like travelling there again!! The Alps are one of my favourite parts in the world and exploring them with you is a dream! Thanks for the amazing work mi amor 🎥💪🏻😘
Ive just been to Berchtesgaden. One of the most beautiful places I have ever been. There is a path that follows the river from Hintersee to Ramsau that is definitely worth following. It is a shame you didnt see Obersee and Rothsbach waterfall. Konigsee is very busy in September but the walk to Obersee will get you some peace. Go even further to the other side of Obersee for real quiet surrounded by huge mountains. The views from The Eagles Nest are something else, arent they? Did you pick out Salzberg in amazing detail, its river winding north? Your video made me want to be back in Berchtesgaden. Sadly, i only booked two days there. A huge mistake. I must go back.
Thank you very much for watching our video and for sharing your experiences in this part of Bavaria! We must go back there in the future in order to visit those places that you mention too. We didn't cross to Austria this time and we can't wait to visit Salzburg and return to Hallstatt as well. 😊 The views from the Eagle´s Nest were really breathtaking! 😍 We're really happy that our video brought you back beautiful memories in this incredible destination! All the best.
Jajaja. Cada otoño volvemos a los Alpes si puede ser! Y el año que viene Austria es candidata, aunque intentaremos que sea Suiza si no se va demasiado de precio. Deseando ver tu trabajo de Austria! 😁📷💪🏻
thanks for watching! We know that the main towns and cities are connecting by train, so I suppose it's possible but certain locations in our trip needed a car to be reached. Good luck on your trip there, even using public transport we're sure you´ll love it!
Thank You for this great itinerary, very useful, planning to go with my wife next May. I wondering if Tirol region is worth visiting? Alpbach, Innsbruck?
Thank you so much for watching and for appreciating our work! We haven’t been in that part of Tirol yet, but we have it in the bucket list for future trips to the Alps. We posted several videos of South Tyrol last year, in case you want to consider some of those places too. Wish you both a wonderful trip to these uniques mountains! 😊🏔
Hi Folks, your video is simple amazing. I am going to the same area in September, do you know if they have a structure for motorhomes in those cities? THanks for your reply
thank very much for watching and for appreciating our work! 🙏🏽 We saw several motorhomes in this area, but we don't have specific information about places to park them at night. Few weeks ago my husband told me that one of his customers at the sports centre rented a campervan to visit some of these same places after watching the videos, so I´m sure it won't be a problem, just be sure you check in advance because they are very strict with parking rules in Germany, we had to pay for almost all the parking spots we used during our trip (and we know people who got big fines for parking wrongly). Enjoy your time there! I´m sure you´ll love Bavaria! 😊
Hello! Great video. 👏🏽 Where did you take the drone shots? Is it allowed to take drone shots over Berchtesgaden? I use DJI Mini 3, do I need any permit?
Hi! Thank you very much for watching and appreciating our video! We checked the German official website before using our drone and we didn´t need permits where we flew, but please double check before flying as some parts are restricted and also the areas may have changed since we filmed these videos. European regulations have been updated in January 2024, we haven´t used our drone this year yet, so we haven´t completely checked the new conditions. At least last summer a pilot online exam was required to get the drone license in Europe for drones over 200 g I think (we needed as we have the Mavic Air 2), plus some European countries required insurance too (we have international insurance with Coverdrone). Good luck and wish you a wonderful trip to Bavaria! 😊
thank you very much for watching and for appreciating our content! This video was filmed with an iPhone 13, a DJI Mavic Air 2 and the Canon R7. Best regards! 🙂
Hi folks, I have a doubt about driver's license in Germany but I don't know if you can help me. I have only a Brazilian driver's license, and my wife has an International driver's license. As you rent a car at the airport, do you know if they have any restrictions on foreign driver's licenses?
Hi Ricardo! My husband has an Irish driving license, so he doesn´t have to worry about that when we travel in Europe. But every country can be different for foreigner licenses, I think the best idea it would be to email the rental car in advance to be sure, but they should accept her international driving license we think. Good luck on your trip! You´ll love Bavaria! 😊
Thanks for watching our video! We checked the official German website and flew the drone only in legal areas of the map, but please check again before you fly as the laws change all the time and maybe some of these spots have restrictions now. 🇩🇪❤️😊
Actually, we often keep the clips for longer time than most travel UA-cam creators do. By the way, changing videos in an artistic manner it´s called cinematics and it requires long hours of hard work to edit like this. This is not a long documentary or a walking tour video, time is precious for many people, putting videos to play long without any meaning is not what we aim with our content. Regards.
Thanks!
Thanks a million for you support Larry! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
