Loving your videos for refreshers! I’m returning to the classroom after a 3-year break (spouse relocation). I’m overwhelmed. I need a checklist so I don’t forget about anything that should be done before the first day. Suggestions?
I am not ready for school yet...I had two grad classes to take this summer. One from May to June and the other from June to July 25. So I'll only have about 2 weeks of summer off which I'll use to begin getting my classroom ready. Students begin Aug. 23rd and I have work days the week before. Hope to squeeze some fun "vacation" days before then. Excited to begin moving into my planner!
I’m retired from teaching so I don’t worry about it. LOL. Our granddaughter stays with us. She is a senior this year. Even if I’m up she gets herself up and gets ready.
I am torn between the HP or EC teacher planner. I had the EC last year and it was juat a tad too big. I agree that this year's HP teacher stuff was kinda lack luster. I hate the stick figures they use!
I used to be a reading teacher. I LOVE teaching history!!!
Love the "Good things" idea!!!
I’ve been waiting for this one! I bought my first EC teacher planner this year and am excited to use it. I like how you adapted some of the pages!
I use the Contacts/Events and Volunteers pages for reporting dates, personal teaching schedule, and professional development days.
Three minutes into your video and I’m loving all the ideas!
I always love this post. It gets me inspired and gives me great ideas for what to put into my teacher planner for the year.
Erin Condren did the blank months on the year plan for the planner at Target.
So they CAN do it! They just haven't on the website planners. Strange... Well, maybe next year!
These are some great ideas! I will be setting my teacher planner up in a few more weeks. Have a wonderful school year!
Thank you! You too!
I use the checklist page to document when I teach individual standards.
I have too many standards to do that, but that is a great idea!! It would be nice to see their progress quickly.
Thank you for reminding me about those tear drop and flag stickers. I need to use them this year!
Looks great! Now I need to set up my planner!
Love to watch your teacher plans. Our kids start back to school on Aug. 4th. Yikes! Blessings.
I'm kinda ready for a regular school year (hopefully) but not mentally ready yet. This is so cute! I'm in the process of setting mine up too!

I'm ready to see my kids but I'm not ready for all the stress! Your lesson planner looks great! :)
I hear ya! 💛

I remember those grad school days! Thankfully they’re not forever! 😅
Oohh I’ve been waiting for you!!
I love the way this is set up! I’m going to use your idea for the washi tape!
OBSESSED with that colorful layers washi. Should have gotten more!
Gostei, mas é difícil encontrar um desse para comprar por aqui...
You don't have to use this planner. Just use what you have available and what works for you!

This looks like the perfect teacher’s planner. Thanks for sharing.
I love how well thought out this is and how you have taken that structure and made it work for you! Do you teach at a private or public school?
Public school but it's very small and rural. It's a super interesting place to work!
Love this content ☺️ ummmm my planner is ready to go and set up but I AM NOT ready!haha I’m savoring the rest of summer down time.
Enjoy it!!
Good work.
I retired from teaching elementary in May 2020, so I’m not ready. 🤣
Lucky duck! 🦆

It is a big planner! I think the biggest difference is whether you care about a coil or discs.
