@@RosieOs101 I have many questions.. What are we? What is our purpose? Are we alone? Coming from a metaphysical upbringing where, I believed in reincarnation, twin flames, soul contracts, etc.. Now with the Neville Goddard info saying all of that is nothing… Law of assumption has me completely wondering what is real and what isn’t. So we can bend reality or put ourselves in a desired one.. What for? All seems so useless… Sure it would be awesome if we were always happy. But when reality is painful , all seems a waste, a struggle.
When I was at one of my lowest points, I wrote “Persist” on two Post-It notes and placed the on the far left and far right side of my desk and persisted.

I actually had an epiphany when Neville answered the question of how long we should persist. I’m very happy to say that I got my answer! Just a couple of days ago as soon as I finished my imaginal act that I had been doing daily for a few weeks, I said to myself: He’s heard me because I’ve heard me! I was convinced He had heard me, and I knew in my heart that that was enough. So, I stopped and I KNOW it comes about. So, that’s why I think for me Neville Goddard’s explanation in this lecture couldn’t be more clear. Thanks as always, Brian 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Know who you are, feel it and let it be. The key is "knowing who you are" first, that you are the only power in world, the only God, the only reality. Once you know this, your doubts constantly drop and over time you become more confident in your imaginative act and when you get the feeling, you know it is done. It has to go beyond mental knowledge. It has to transition into experience. Peace 🕊️
I agree regarding Neville not realizing how much easier it was for him. Also, I think his vibe was so high, that those in his presence who came for his assistance were assured their imaginal acts! If I’m not at a certain vibe, I can’t manifest...yet another said he can in any state, but this person had his kundalini rise, like Neville... 🤷🏻♀️ Maybe it’s ALL: “If you believe you can or you can’t, you’re right. (But then again...I spoke something I desired, out load, thoughtfully, magically in just months an SP showed up! I had a precognitive dream about him but could not see his face or figure out where we were & it took 2 days later to realize I had lived that dream! That was a wild time, way back in 2006! I saw it in a beautiful dream I wear the stone around my neck I didn't see the lotus inside. Our little pipistrelle bats were back this morning and such a joy to watch. Hey Brian, Love your work!!! I'm 52, have had a ravenous appetite for religion, metaphysics, ancient history / lost knowledge, neurology, psychology... you name it... Like you, I'm a couple thousand+ books deep into the secret world of these marvelous masters... As I have begun work on a course myself, after 30 years of study, I see many different "Modalities" that can affect the Subconscious mind... From NLP to Hypnosis to Psych-K muscle testing to Affirmations to Meditation, Incantations & Ritual and even Prayer as Napoleon Hill stated & Greg Braden discusses in his Heart/Mind Cohesion (Book of Thomas) teachings / (Nag Hammadi texts)... As I have uncovered & addressed many defeating Subconscious programs within myself, I realized that one size didn't fit all in trying to replace or overwrite the programs... "as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he"... "it has been done unto you as you have believed"... "we don't get what we want in life, we get what we believe"... All of these sayings essentially saying the same thing... From what I have learned, You must find a process for YOURSELF, a technique, method or "modality" of impregnating the Subconscious that leaves you FEELING the most faith... a growing faith, belief, confidence, relief etc... a feeling of emotional assurance that grows "like a mustard seed" with each mental/emotional engagement... ❤ I loved this particular lecture, especially the questions you ask at the end how long? Should we persist? I particularly liked and enjoyed Nevels answer regarding the feeling of certainty. In my own case, my primary imaginal act has been in the works for four years I say primary because during that period of time I have had in numerable imagine relax become reality. Just today after listening to this lecture, as well as a couple of others on a similar topic by Neville. I came to the sudden realization that I have had multiple dreams that we’re is real as anything I have ever experienced. I’ve heard a voice in one of those dreams, I have had the hand of God fill out the fourth step in a three step list that I had made. I have had visions and lucid dreams of the end or the fulfillment of my desire as experience in my dream. Now when I think of those three experiences in my mind, I have the feeling of certainty. Isn’t it wonderful that feeling of certainty gives me great comfort, and spurs me on to persistent the assumption even after all this time or maybe because of the time perhaps it took me that long to get to the point where I could feel certain. It is done!!!
I don’t think Neville would ever give a date on how long you should persist As how can there be. I personally would keep trying different techniques like using the ladder exercise or focusing on the feeling of the desire for filled or imagining someone else being successful in their life and how they would feel
Let me be clear, he mentioned for how long you should be persistent. Its that you have to carry the feeling of wish fulfilled until its objectively materialized in this world
It’s so simple, having faith in what we desire can only happen when we enjoy the act of believing so much that we don’t care about the how and when, creation is over, celebration is trusting and being at ease so re-joice! Asking how long or when is admitting that it is not.
I've been listening to this for the last three days while doing my cardio and this morning Neville came to me (this is the second time that's happened) but this time he said "Go and find the truth before you" and then it started getting cloudy and I was like hey wait come back and he said "You don't need me because all of the answers are within you". Love these little treadmill visits from Neville. 🤣... Last time the only thing he said was "Creation is before you" and I opened my eyes and it was like the whole room was moving in unison to the song I was listening to... Cool stuff.
There's just something about Neville's teachings that have spoken to something deeper in myself. I'm still working on his method, and expect to, for some time. It's simple to explain, but, for me, it's hard to do.
I think the answer is in the Title of this Video... You have to have Persistence. In my experience I've thought about the things I've manifested very quickly, and the other things which took slightly longer. Not 20 years long, but long enough to begin to wonder if I'm manifesting correctly, like you mentioned, if there is any doubt, and especially if there is a feasible time period where I can say with confidence that if it goes longer than this, then perhaps I should regroup or let it go. On my Spiritual Journey I take all variables into consideration, and the 1 that keeps popping up for me is Divine Timing. I think that in some instances/cases that the thing you really want will take a little longer to manifest because you have to be Ready to Receive what you're asking for. I think it's all about Alignment. Where we are within our Life, who/what we're attracting into our Lives. Are we building from a foundation of Love and Trust in what we're capable of

The question of "how long?" is a tricky one, indeed. But it is one that I believe is as unique as each person's spiritual path. I don't think you can put a timeframe on it (in accordance to how we perceive time) because there are so many things that play into that path. Although a poor analogy, I feel like it's reminiscent of epigenetics, where you have DNA, but then you also have a myriad of environmental factors that play into gene expression as well. A change in that expression would start with intent, then progression into consistent, inspired action. So, I would say that the length of time would be as long as it takes in order for your thoughts, words, and deeds to fully align.
I'm convinced this lecture is meant for me... there are at least two things mentioned in this lecture which are truthful me. Word for word as read. I was just about to give up and look for a plan B. Thank you Brian.
I was looking forward to listening to this lecture but ended up being more confused. In alot of his other lectures he has continually stated once you have assumed you have what you desire you leave it alone and assume it will happen nothing else is neccessary. He has even said if you continually focus on obtaining what you want you are planting doubt that you won't receive it. In this lecture he is saying the opposite to continue to assume till it is achieved.

Hey you guys, I started channeling spirits from dog food, processed meat products and such. The I am is an interpolation and manipulative addition to the information to lead people astray from their purpose and into being processed and canned as dog food. The resonance and synchronicities that transcends time are the songs suck my kiss by the red hot chili peppers, and what I am by edie Brickell. Both music videos clearly communicate that they are aware of this. There's others but only can remember those 2 right now. I care and that is why I tell people things like this, unpleasant and a spoken word warning about information people live by, I'm not always received well. Just trust my intentions are for the highest good for all involved and I feed both wolves not just 1,. But not with misled people. I also quit eating Chinese food, since the dryer lint with dog hair as unavoidable when you have dogs,. Mixed with vegetable crisco as a fireplace starter life hack smell distinctly of the essence of Chinese restaurant that you just can't recreate at home. Please investigate these things for yourselves...
It can happen very quickly. It depends on the strength of feelings behind it, the scope of your visualisation, and your degree of certainty. The feeling of knowing with certainty is crucial. You are really brainwashing yourself to a different reality ❤ Kay 😊
I've proven to myself that imagination fulfills itself but you really just need to surrender to a state .sometimes I think we belive that something which we believe to be a big thing we want to manifest is too big and we can't see how it's going to come about but that's the problem we must be too focused on the middle instead if just dwelling in the end ..big or small manifestations don't differ.. I loved this lecture (like every single neville lecture) thank you Brian..currently I'm at the end of having covid and when I tested positive I told myself "I am what I believe " so I just assumed I am healthy and I'll do what I usually do in my day to day life..Well I was relatively symptom free because I didn't accept that I would be ill. so yet again I've proven you are what you believe to.also being out if work due to having to self isolate I managed to create a rather large sum of money .even though I couldn't go out and earn my normal wage . imagining creates reality I Am 😆 thanks Brian 😊

After taking some time being away from my friends at church, I am going forward to meet them, and this time I understand that I am more than I am before. And understand that it’s not wrong to be alone.
How long to assume it? Maybe depends how deeply one fully and completely adopts the wish fulfilled? If there are any subconscious reservations that one may not be aware of..or unfinished business? I don't know... maybe that's what makes it take longer and longer... In any case... I LOVED so much this episode... thank you soul much... 💜🕊🙏
When something hasn’t manifested yet, I have experienced it can come from two major feeling states. The first Neville explained is thinking “of” what you want (it hasn’t happened) rather than thinking “from it” (it has happened and what it feels like). It’s a very subtle but powerful distinction. The second Neville doesn’t explain, but I think is a major influence; if our history or influences were either negative or traumatic regarding a particular issue. For example, it can be challenging if my family has had major arguments about money, or they didn’t feel confident in acquiring it easily. If that had occurred, then it can feel either irrational or disingenuous to feel abundant. I need to use my awareness and my will to upgrade my relationship with finances. That’s where time plays its part in disintegrating my old, conditioned mindset.
Have a look at the tapping solution on UA-cam, emotional freedom technique is the only way to get rid of all these blocks. I followed Brad Yates on UA-cam he is amazing.
@@tumbleweeduk7479 Thank you for your compassionate response. I really appreciate the energy of Neville Goddard’s teachings. My intention was to address those that might be frustrated if their desires haven’t manifested yet. Another layer such as “tapping” as you suggested and other trauma work can clear out the cobwebs, so that they can regain their sense of pleasure and joy of feeling their wishes fulfilled.
I think certain things take long because, while we do the work, - The Affirmations, meditations , scripting etc, we also dwell on the 3D that it isn't here as yet.. so there is momentum in the latter too . Being aware of ur thoughts and feelings and always living in the end is key.
Brian your statement at the end really hit the nail on the end, Neville always makes it sound so easy and yet so many people really struggle to get it and many never manage to make it happen for them. It is not just Neville but almost all the new thought authors, they always say at the beginning of their books that this one little thing will change your life and take away all your problems. Sometimes I love Neville's lectures and find they five me hope but other times I find them disheartening because I have not been able to manifest what I want even with as much imagining as I can do so it's good to know that you also feel there is more to it and it's not as simple as it sounds.

I don't understand where the Antichrist in the New world order and all that stuff fit into this... I mean I've never heard Neville speak about that stuff even though I know it's only like roles played
Perhaps Neville was born into relatively clear circumstances so the purity of his teachings could begin early in his career. To reference Abraham you can't get sick enough to make someone healthy, he had unwavering alignment from the depth of his being. Everything is god, to focus in on the "individual" and their mind would forgo his teachings. From the state is key, the imaginal act has to be done until the current reality has no bearing in you anymore. Everything is contained in the now, birth death, everything wanted and unwanted. Once that bridge is created the feeling of desire has dropped because you have now experienced it. The surfacing of the old programs in the subconscious is part of the manifestation. In one way I think he's left it out because it is simple, the persistence in the state wanted is a shift in attention, and through that the momentum of your old subconscious is changed, those old beliefs etc simply fall away. Sure there are some great techniques and teachings from other people which is wonderful. But I do believe Neville's teachings alone will get you there. The bridge of incidents can be anything, including a rebirth of the subconscious.

@@realblummusic Does it? Or is that a rule some have accepted. I don’t smoke. However, we have to become more aware of how this Game of Life is really played. We accept a lot of things as true and they become true simply because we believe it. If we change what we believe, our experience will match that belief. That’s why it’s said the “reality” is just a mirror. It reflects what we accept and believe as true. We make the rules and then experience the results. You think things happen to you when in reality they happen through you.
Persistent assumption needs to be maintained until one actually has inner experience of “falling into the wish fulfilled “! There is a shift that occurs when we fall into the assumption of the wish..it’s no longer something coming but it is MINE. It’s a knowing. I’ve had the experience multiple times where the wish was still an imagined wish and then I assumed in a powerful “of course” attitude…it was always shortly after this experience that my wish appeared in physical form

Brian listening to your lectures makes my days. I've been through many experiences in life and what I 'think' I've determined is that persisting/persevering is a feeling in itself. Like Napoleon Hill describes as burning desire. How long the realization of a desire takes, I'm not sure but I KNOW it's determined by the intensity behind the persistence. I recently went into a travel agency to buy an airline ticket. When the lady told me the price I knew I didn't have enough credit on my card. True enough she ran the card and it was rejected. I had an overwhelming desire to get to my . destination which consumed me completely in that moment. I suggested she made a mistake and asked her to run the card again and this time including the hotel fee. I invoked a degree of desire/force within me that shook my body and guess what happened? I'd like to tell you it was an understanding of the law but it was an incredible internal force mixed with desperation! Regardless it worked on the spot!😮
Brian, I have a question with the bridge of incidents. Is the bridge always long with multiple incidents? Or can it be short with only a few rather minor incidents, could it even just be one slight incident? Could the bridge of incidents occure before you even start on this path?

I saw it in a beautiful dream I wear the stone around my neck I didn't see the lotus inside. Our little pipistrelle bats were back this morning and such a joy to watch. Hey Brian, Love your work!!! I'm 52, have had a ravenous appetite for religion, metaphysics, ancient history / lost knowledge, neurology, psychology... you name it... Like you, I'm a couple thousand+ books deep into the secret world of these marvelous masters... As I have begun work on a course myself, after 30 years of study, I see many different "Modalities" that can affect the Subconscious mind... From NLP to Hypnosis to Psych-K muscle testing to Affirmations to Meditation, Incantations & Ritual and even Prayer as Napoleon Hill stated & Greg Braden discusses in his Heart/Mind Cohesion (Book of Thomas) teachings / (Nag Hammadi texts)... As I have uncovered & addressed many defeating Subconscious programs within myself, I realized that one size didn't fit all in trying to replace or overwrite the programs... "as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he"... "it has been done unto you as you have believed"... "we don't get what we want in life, we get what we believe"... All of these sayings essentially saying the same thing... From what I have learned, You must find a process for YOURSELF, a technique, method or "modality" of impregnating the Subconscious that leaves you FEELING the most faith... a growing faith, belief, confidence, relief etc... a feeling of emotional assurance that grows "like a mustard seed" with each mental/emotional engagement... We have an internal guidance system or internal lie detector built into ALL of us from birth... It tells you immediately if YOU believe YOU..."that still small voice"... Proverbs 4:7 "Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore, get wisdom & with all thy getting, get Understanding" The scriptures are replete with telling us to get wisdom & knowledge over fine treasure... Understanding the Various "Modalities" or methods as it relates to affecting the subconscious mind & our vibrational frequency is in my mind anyway, seeking this very knowledge & wisdom the scriptures speak of as the subconscious is the door to all...

❤ I loved this particular lecture, especially the questions you ask at the end how long? Should we persist? I particularly liked and enjoyed Nevels answer regarding the feeling of certainty. In my own case, my primary imaginal act has been in the works for four years I say primary because during that period of time I have had in numerable imagine relax become reality. Just today after listening to this lecture, as well as a couple of others on a similar topic by Neville. I came to the sudden realization that I have had multiple dreams that we’re is real as anything I have ever experienced. I’ve heard a voice in one of those dreams, I have had the hand of God fill out the fourth step in a three step list that I had made. I have had visions and lucid dreams of the end or the fulfillment of my desire as experience in my dream. Now when I think of those three experiences in my mind, I have the feeling of certainty. Isn’t it wonderful that feeling of certainty gives me great comfort, and spurs me on to persistent the assumption even after all this time or maybe because of the time perhaps it took me that long to get to the point where I could feel certain. It is done!!!

I've been listening to this for the last three days while doing my cardio and this morning Neville came to me (this is the second time that's happened) but this time he said "Go and find the truth before you" and then it started getting cloudy and I was like hey wait come back and he said "You don't need me because all of the answers are within you". Love these little treadmill visits from Neville. 🤣... Last time the only thing he said was "Creation is before you" and I opened my eyes and it was like the whole room was moving in unison to the song I was listening to... Cool stuff.

There's just something about Neville's teachings that have spoken to something deeper in myself. I'm still working on his method, and expect to, for some time. It's simple to explain, but, for me, it's hard to do.
I think the answer is in the Title of this Video... You have to have Persistence. In my experience I've thought about the things I've manifested very quickly, and the other things which took slightly longer. Not 20 years long, but long enough to begin to wonder if I'm manifesting correctly, like you mentioned, if there is any doubt, and especially if there is a feasible time period where I can say with confidence that if it goes longer than this, then perhaps I should regroup or let it go.
On my Spiritual Journey I take all variables into consideration, and the 1 that keeps popping up for me is Divine Timing. I think that in some instances/cases that the thing you really want will take a little longer to manifest because you have to be Ready to Receive what you're asking for.
I think it's all about Alignment. Where we are within our Life, who/what we're attracting into our Lives. Are we building from a foundation of Love and Trust in what we're capable of

The question of "how long?" is a tricky one, indeed. But it is one that I believe is as unique as each person's spiritual path. I don't think you can put a timeframe on it (in accordance to how we perceive time) because there are so many things that play into that path.
Although a poor analogy, I feel like it's reminiscent of epigenetics, where you have DNA, but then you also have a myriad of environmental factors that play into gene expression as well. A change in that expression would start with intent, then progression into consistent, inspired action.
So, I would say that the length of time would be as long as it takes in order for your thoughts, words, and deeds to fully align.

I was looking forward to listening to this lecture but ended up being more confused. In alot of his other lectures he has continually stated once you have assumed you have what you desire you leave it alone and assume it will happen nothing else is neccessary. He has even said if you continually focus on obtaining what you want you are planting doubt that you won't receive it. In this lecture he is saying the opposite to continue to assume till it is achieved.

Hey you guys, I started channeling spirits from dog food, processed meat products and such. The I am is an interpolation and manipulative addition to the information to lead people astray from their purpose and into being processed and canned as dog food. The resonance and synchronicities that transcends time are the songs suck my kiss by the red hot chili peppers, and what I am by edie Brickell. Both music videos clearly communicate that they are aware of this. There's others but only can remember those 2 right now. I care and that is why I tell people things like this, unpleasant and a spoken word warning about information people live by, I'm not always received well. Just trust my intentions are for the highest good for all involved and I feed both wolves not just 1,. But not with misled people. I also quit eating Chinese food, since the dryer lint with dog hair as unavoidable when you have dogs,. Mixed with vegetable crisco as a fireplace starter life hack smell distinctly of the essence of Chinese restaurant that you just can't recreate at home. Please investigate these things for yourselves...

I've proven to myself that imagination fulfills itself but you really just need to surrender to a state .sometimes I think we belive that something which we believe to be a big thing we want to manifest is too big and we can't see how it's going to come about but that's the problem we must be too focused on the middle instead if just dwelling in the end ..big or small manifestations don't differ.. I loved this lecture (like every single neville lecture) thank you Brian..currently I'm at the end of having covid and when I tested positive I told myself "I am what I believe " so I just assumed I am healthy and I'll do what I usually do in my day to day life..Well I was relatively symptom free because I didn't accept that I would be ill. so yet again I've proven you are what you believe to.also being out if work due to having to self isolate I managed to create a rather large sum of money .even though I couldn't go out and earn my normal wage .

When something hasn’t manifested yet, I have experienced it can come from two major feeling states. The first Neville explained is thinking “of” what you want (it hasn’t happened) rather than thinking “from it” (it has happened and what it feels like). It’s a very subtle but powerful distinction. The second Neville doesn’t explain, but I think is a major influence; if our history or influences were either negative or traumatic regarding a particular issue. For example, it can be challenging if my family has had major arguments about money, or they didn’t feel confident in acquiring it easily. If that had occurred, then it can feel either irrational or disingenuous to feel abundant. I need to use my awareness and my will to upgrade my relationship with finances. That’s where time plays its part in disintegrating my old, conditioned mindset.
Have a look at the tapping solution on UA-cam, emotional freedom technique is the only way to get rid of all these blocks. I followed Brad Yates on UA-cam he is amazing.

My intention was to address those that might be frustrated if their desires haven’t manifested yet. Another layer such as “tapping” as you suggested and other trauma work can clear out the cobwebs, so that they can regain their sense of pleasure and joy of feeling their wishes fulfilled.

I think certain things take long because, while we do the work, - The Affirmations, meditations , scripting etc, we also dwell on the 3D that it isn't here as yet.. so there is momentum in the latter too . Being aware of ur thoughts and feelings and always living in the end is key.
Brian your statement at the end really hit the nail on the end, Neville always makes it sound so easy and yet so many people really struggle to get it and many never manage to make it happen for them. It is not just Neville but almost all the new thought authors, they always say at the beginning of their books that this one little thing will change your life and take away all your problems. Sometimes I love Neville's lectures and find they five me hope but other times I find them disheartening because I have not been able to manifest what I want even with as much imagining as I can do so it's good to know that you also feel there is more to it and it's not as simple as it sounds.

Perhaps Neville was born into relatively clear circumstances so the purity of his teachings could begin early in his career. To reference Abraham you can't get sick enough to make someone healthy, he had unwavering alignment from the depth of his being. Everything is god, to focus in on the "individual" and their mind would forgo his teachings.
From the state is key, the imaginal act has to be done until the current reality has no bearing in you anymore. Everything is contained in the now, birth death, everything wanted and unwanted. Once that bridge is created the feeling of desire has dropped because you have now experienced it. The surfacing of the old programs in the subconscious is part of the manifestation.
In one way I think he's left it out because it is simple, the persistence in the state wanted is a shift in attention, and through that the momentum of your old subconscious is changed, those old beliefs etc simply fall away.
Sure there are some great techniques and teachings from other people which is wonderful. But I do believe Neville's teachings alone will get you there. The bridge of incidents can be anything, including a rebirth of the subconscious.
Finally... Now I get the whole thing about David. and thank you for answering my question regarding letting it go versus persistence...!!!!!

We accept a lot of things as true and they become true simply because we believe it. If we change what we believe, our experience will match that belief. That’s why it’s said the “reality” is just a mirror. It reflects what we accept and believe as true. We make the rules and then experience the results. You think things happen to you when in reality they happen through you.
Persistent assumption needs to be maintained until one actually has inner experience of “falling into the wish fulfilled “! There is a shift that occurs when we fall into the assumption of the wish..it’s no longer something coming but it is MINE. It’s a knowing. I’ve had the experience multiple times where the wish was still an imagined wish and then I assumed in a powerful “of course” attitude…it was always shortly after this experience that my wish appeared in physical form

Brian listening to your lectures makes my days. I've been through many experiences in life and what I 'think' I've determined is that persisting/persevering is a feeling in itself. Like Napoleon Hill describes as burning desire. How long the realization of a desire takes, I'm not sure but I KNOW it's determined by the intensity behind the persistence. I recently went into a travel agency to buy an airline ticket. When the lady told me the price I knew I didn't have enough credit on my card. True enough she ran the card and it was rejected. I had an overwhelming desire to get to my . destination which consumed me completely in that moment. I suggested she made a mistake and asked her to run the card again and this time including the hotel fee. I invoked a degree of desire/force within me that shook my body and guess what happened? I'd like to tell you it was an understanding of the law but it was an incredible internal force mixed with desperation! Regardless it worked on the spot!😮

Brian, I have a question with the bridge of incidents. Is the bridge always long with multiple incidents? Or can it be short with only a few rather minor incidents, could it even just be one slight incident? Could the bridge of incidents occure before you even start on this path?
