Standing Next to you and Seven is the same producers (Andrew Watt and Cirkut) So, 3D and Dynamite same producer (David Stewart). Jung Kook doesn’t wants to stay the same musical genres with his vocal capabilities. He wants to try and challenge himself about kind of genre it suit his voice. So, I think that’s cool about him. For me JK has the best discography in terms of diversity and style. Standing Next to You, 3D, Still with You, Too Much and Stay Alive are my favorites, and overall in terms of success and quality JK’s work is considered beyond K-pop now. Truly the giant pop star!

That's actually a really huge compliment to say that this is a modern take of what MJ would've made if he was still around making music. As a moonwalker, I couldn't agree more, but as a fan of kpop, I think this is by far the best representation from a kpop act of what MJ would've been and sounded like. Whether it was Jungkook intention or not, as far as we know he selected this song because he visualised himself on stage performing it but it was the choreographer whose idea was to incorporate MJ's moves and that couldn't have happened without the guidance of Jungkooks vocals switching that light bulb. Jungkook is really a chameleon how he blends into any genre, and the fact he chaneled MJ in this retro pop-funk song. He's really that pop star and the truth.

When 7 came out over 3 months ago, I listened to it the most since it is so catchy. It took me a few listen to love 3D and Standing Next To You. All 3 songs I love the songs equally but because 7 was his first released album song, maybe I’m a little bias to it but really all 3 songs are favorites depending on my mood.

I loved Seven qhen he released ot bit them 3D came out. Wow, much more my style and I loved Jack Harlowe and Jungkook's coices together, and the slightly tongue on cheek humour. But then, he released Standing Next to You. Clear favourite for me. The sound the choreo the video, everything. Love it so much. The whole album is a masterpiece. Jungkook proving that he really is the "Golden" maknae of BTS.💜

Whether as a group or solo, BTS members never make the same songs over and over. So unlike other artists who have a hit and then milk it, BTS members always want to try new things and keep it fresh. So on his new album JK wanted to show his vocal range across a few genres (ballads, pop, funk, dance) as he wants to be an all rounder and not pigeon-holed as one thing.
I have now been spoiled by the BTS members because you get 110% effort in all they do, amazing vocals and production, they go all out in their stages and videos, they are all great dancers but, even without the visual aspects, they can certainly hold their own with amazing song quality. AND they are 7 of the nicest people on earth!💜
