What you do to summon the car is hold the middle until the car honks and then hold the front button then the car will move forwards! Like so Jack can see!

@@skuxx4670 I actually don’t. It actually is one of those brands that you can’t look away from one you buy one of their products. Fits perfectly in my pocket in all sorts of pants, and holds up extremely well (I have the carbon fiber one). No issues, but the components are so small if you want to reassemble the wallet for something (I switched from a cash strap to a money clip), you better be careful with those tiny screws. Perfect RFID blocking. The only thing I don’t really like is the money clip doesn’t really fit well (too thin) so it will slide around (but it’s still secured by the design).

Yes vw genius design, the key barrel in the door has to be taken out and then turned with the new that has to be cut while the working key in the ignition has to be turned

On our Audi you have to hold the open boot button for a second rather then just pressing it to actually open the boot. Maybe that’s what the frunk is rather than double clicking??

A key fob that doesn’t have something to attach it to your other keys is really a design flaw. Otherwise it’s great
It has a spot inside you can attach a string/lanyard to.
Yes, I wouldn’t buy it if it doesn’t have a key ring
They have a very nice attractive holder for the key fob and there is a key ring attached.
When do you purchase the key fob that’s an accessory. It fits like a glove

To use summon with the key fob you hold down the middle till the car honks then you bress the back or forward buttons

To make it a keyring you can also get a tiny lanyard that goes into the back of it that has a ring attached. You just pop the battery cover off loop the lanyard around the post at the bottom and close it back up and away you go.
Another good use for the key fob is when you have a non Tesla charger connected if you press and hold the trunk button it unlocks the charge cable

Jack for using summon you should press the middle button and press the frunk button for forward and boot button for reversing
Hey jack if you want summon to work from the key fob, I’m pretty sure you need to hold the top and then release the top and then tap the fronk (or the front windshield) to summon forward and tap the trunk(or the rear window)to summon backward. Try it out
in the uk its disabled

Jack you should try the Tesla model 3 ring key, and you should compare all the option to unlock the car the key fob, phone, card and ring
missed the charge port (think its long press on the rear). Thats the one that makes me tempted - will also unlock the charger if its plugged in. In the morning it can take a while to wake the car up with the app so that would be convenient

a good idea would be to get the keyring attachment and then add a trolley coin to the keyring so that you can have the keyfob dangling out of ur trolley so u don't have to fiddle around to get it out of a bag or ur pocket when you go to the boot with ur shopping. It's right there, dangling from your trolley.

I think you have to hold down the top button and then hold down further up. That is what it looked like to me

i do believe that to make it drive forward or back you hold the middle of the keeyfob then either front or back of the keyfob to make it go in that direction

To use summon on the key fob, you have to go into the summon settings and turn off continuous press,
Hold the top and then press the grunt trunk to go forward and press the background to go backwards

Jack, if you press and hold for a few seconds the back of they key fob, the charge port will also open. :)
The key fob does move it forward you have to hold the top of the key and once it’s ready you click and hold the front of the key
Hold the rear button for a few seconds and it opens the charge flap too
imagine driving a tesla and some one double clicks to open your front up...haha
