Hello Everyone! Its Tiffany with Thrifting Vegas. I shop at thrift stores, estate sales, garage sales and discount stores for items I can resell for a profit on online platforms like eBay, Poshmark and Offer-Up.

Its Saturday morning and I am excited to be back at my favorite Goodwill at Rainbow and Cheyenne, here in Las Vegas. They were stocking the shelves as I walked in and although it was quite busy, the treasures began to flow into my cart immediately! I have my Thrifting Vegas Blanket and my reuseable shopping bags ready, so Thrift with me and learn what to bolo and what to leave on the shelf, and why. My biggest pet peeve is when the thrift store puts the price tag over the makers mark!
Or on top of a sticker that was meant as a maker's mark, yeah :( almost impossible to rescue

My pet peeve is when the stores tape over delicate paint/finishes. I've seen so many beautiful pieces completely destroyed by the practice.
My biggest Pet Peeve is when parents leave their kids at the toy section and let them put stuff all over the floor and leave it there. Parents even watch their kids do this and walk away leaving stuff all over floor. My parents taught me better!!!! Always put things back where you got them!!!
Parents do that at regular retail stores too. I don't understand it.
I do not mind the children at all..but people's dogs drive me MAD!!
the tumbler is by Northwood Glass in opalescent vaseline glass, in the Opaline Brocade pattern circa 1899,... it's part of a lemonade set. One of my favorite glass companies.
An absolute pet peeve of mine are rude and aggressive shoppers. I call them space invaders - who aren't bothered by barging into your space, reaching in front of you to browse or push you out of your space completely.
Thrifting gets nasty sometimes it's crazy 😂
I've had ppl actually jerk things out of my hands and take it or hand it to someone else.
My daughter has had things taken out of her cart.
You really need to cover this stuff up that you put in your cart so people can't see it and then while your back is turned take it.😮
Tiffany, absolutely fabulous haul! Wow! My biggest pet peeve is when a person takes up the whole aisle with their cart & body. You say “excuse me” & they look at you like “what? you can’t get by?” 😂

My pet peeve is when some other shopper reaches her arm across my face to snatch the item I'm trying to get on the shelf right in front of me. Then I see she has dumped it somewhere else in the store. Rude people ALWAYS get my hackles up! Btw, I didn't see any info on the hanging plate with the flowers. Did I miss it? Thanks!
Ditto ! The kids are doing whatever and the parents don't have a clue or care !
Price stickers that are hard to remove!!
I found a very old glass statue that had flash paint on it and the price stickers ripped the flash paint off. Oddly enough it was blown glass and gorgeous but what a waste for the flash painted part
My pet peeve is taking my husband with me, then he keeps saying, "Do you really need that?"

I'm so envious of the size of your Goodwill! My local store is a quarter of that size. I still find some gems from time to time. No pet peeves at the moment. ❤

My biggest pet peeve is finding a great item at the thrift store, but the price tag is missing. Most will give me a price on the spot, but some have a policy that prohibits them from selling any items without a tag. I found three pieces of the same pottery in different colors (obviously a set, or part of a set) but one piece didn't have a tag and the clerk wouldn't even price it as the same as the other two, even though the only difference was the color.
My pet peeve is children running wild while their parent(s) are shopping😡

I had two pet peeves.#1, kids running around the store like maniacs and their parents acting like they don't see it. #2, people talking loudly on their cell phone like nobody's there hearing their whole conversation . 🤔🤫☺
Just standing in the middle of a row like a lump, as though you are the only shopper in the store! My Goodwill has very narrow rows, and two carts cannot pass one another going opposite directions. And the shelves are pretty chaotic . Often I try to find an out of the way place I can stick my cart so I can move freely. Of course if I have something I really want, that is a risk too.
I recently started a new volunteer job here in Australia at The Salvos..my biggest pet peeve is parents who let their little kids play with all the toys that were once nicely on show only for the kids to trash that area..the parents might be in the store for over a hour..and all the shoplifters we get daily..

My pet peeve is people that walk around you when the aisle is busy. Why do they think I’m just waiting so I can look. I had an old man reach around me for something as I was looking. Creepy too!
My pet peeve is jerks who SHOVE the hangers into you while you're looking a clothes.

My pet peeve is when the store prices things separately that go together. My local store priced a sugar bowl and its lid separately. I love Party Lite. I think it gets a bad rap. I'm not a reseller but I do pick up the cute holiday items for myself.

I totally agree Hun. Children show be under thier parent control and by them at all sides. Cant hard loud unruly kids and careless parents!!
Great finds! My biggest pet peeve is people's carts in the middle of the aisle where you can't get passed or shoppers crowding my space. Another pet peeve is out of control children
My pet peeve is abandoned paper and plastic cups and other food packaging-sometimes with food still in. I once picked up a cup and found it half full of brown chewing tobacco spit. Another time, I reached up to a high shelf and a plate full of gnawed chicken wings fell off the shelf.
My pet peeve whilst thrifting is when parents leave their kids at the toy section unsupervised and use it as a babysitting area. Most of the time they dont clean up the mess that their children make after being left unsupervised with the toys either….

My biggest pet peeve at thrift stores, or any store, are shoplifters . At a Safeway store up here I know a clerk who works there . He was telling me that there’s this couple who regularly steal meat . They also have knives and pepper spray on them . They are selling the stolen meat to restaurants . Hope they get caught . And also the restaurants who are buying the stolen meat. Shoplifting just increases the costs of the products, as if inflation isn’t bad enough .

in the metals section I would go back look at that big silver pan it could be sterling I find sterling every year .
I volunteer at a thrift store. My pet peeves (too many) but it would help the volunteers and employees tons is to not stack larger items on top of smaller items. People pull the large item and drag under items off the shelves. To not only return items to their proper places but don’t just pitch it on the shelf please place them upright in a stable spot. Finally if you break or find broken glass please let an employee know so it can be cleaned up and no one injured. Theft is out of control so it’s appreciated that good people help
My pet peeve is when people come in with several small children and let them run loose in the store with no keeping track what there kids are into or who they are bothering !!

Hi Tiffany, I remember as a child, my mom using a wooden rolling pin with red wooden handles. She used to make all her own piecrusts back then and then she would take the leftover piecrust that hung over the side of the pie plate and sprinkle it with sugar and cinnamon, and make little roll ups. I couldn’t wait for them to come out of the oven…💙🦋💙

Tiffany, that concord ashtray may be named from "The Concord" which was a supersonic passenger plane built in the 60's. Of course, back then smoking was allowed on airplanes. The ashtray could have been sold in the airport or could have been available on the airplane. Of course, this is speculation.

My pet peeve and the thrift store is when I am halfway down an aisle and somebody gets right in front of me and looks at the things before I do.😊
