People should understand every tenor is unique and has its own voice and style. In my opinion Josh is the best when it come to deep voice. He doesnt have a airy voice like Jay and Chris.
Hmm I agree about tenor, Jay Parrack was incredible. He does hit em high notes though. Arron Was awesome as well. Your right though to mix old with the new but this song has got a real funky groove. Got To Do Right is just an awesome version. Not bad for an old crew doing old songs with a new jamming sound, I love it. Tim is actually pretty funky without being cheesy, hes old skool with fresh flavor. from New Zealand with love
Least favorite tenor and lead singer since the group started... They have been struggling since Jay Parrack, Johnathan Wilburn and Mark Tramell all left... And when Tim Riley left for a little while, they couldn't keep singers... They were so good during the 80's and 90's, it's just a little period of readjustment... Plus, Southern Gospel style has changed since then... It'll be hard to combine new and old and have a group of singers that can do it effectively...
Bruce has a great voice, but I never thought it fit a quartet sound. I believe he would be a tremendous soloist. As for Josh, he seems to rely on his music theater experience a lot and try to belt up high. Quite frankly, belt is pretty much a controlled yell, that's why he sounds that way.
@GamingDrummer89 I don't think Bruce is a bad singer, I just feel that his voice is much more suited to baritone than lead. To me, I feel the same way about when he goes high as you and I both do about when Josh goes high. It just seems like he's screaming to hit the high notes. He couldn't do a soft song that had high note. If you know what I mean, he's just a good baritone that they tried to stick in the lead part. Nothing against him. P.S.- Ivan Parker was amazing. Just sayin.
@ub2442fx I disagree with you about Bruce. He's not with the group anymore, and I was very upset to hear that he left recently. He's got the most powerful and projective voice next to Ivan Parker. All of the leads Gold City has had are about equal, with Ivan Parker maybe a little above the rest. I do agree about Josh though. His voice sounds a little weird to me. I can't explain it, but it sounds to me almost like he's wailing, particularly when he goes up really high.
This lineup has a good sound, Just not with this style. I’m a huge fan of all these men on stage and their voices, And they’ve all been successful. Biggest down fall is the style of song (like this one) doesn’t fit.
THIS HAS GOT TO BE THE WORSE GROUP GOLD CITY HAS PUT TOGETHER. TIM AND DANIEL CAN DO A WHOLE LOT BETTER THAT THIS.. THE TENOR IS DOING NOTHING BUT SCREAMING
He's the man! No one has a voice like Tim! Thanks for share.
Those are very high notes, not everyone could sing them and sound good like those tenors. God bless them. I love Josh
Tim-God Given Talent.
Exactly
Talent, not show
Me encanta este cuarteto!!! los mejores!

How do you consider a tenor being low ?

@ub2442fx I think they have Bruce's volume cranked.

Qual o nome do primeiro tenor?
Josh Cobb. Cantou também no Legacy Five, na primeira formação
2:55
Something is wrong with that tenor. He looks and sings like he has had a few beers, or a hangover.

Ficou muito melhor na voz dos canticos vocal
