You know what makes this couple so attractive together, other than amazing acting skills. He’s a flamboyant dramatic and she’s a romantic. Complete opposite on the body type scales. He’s the most masculine body type and she’s the most feminine body type in the Kibbe body types. He’s very angular and dryer, she’s very soft and every line is her body is rounded. A lot of films choose beautiful, amazing actors that are pretty on pair in body types, these 2 aren’t even close.
It is very hard to live that way for the rest of your life, being barely able to move. I do not agree with assisted suicide in cases like this however I understand where he is coming from and why he would make a choice like that.

It’s really more selfish of her to ask this of him. He’s still suffering every day with something that will never get better and she could technically walk away at any time since it’s happened before. It’s very hard for people to suddenly go from an active on the go person to someone who can’t feel or move most of their bodies.

One day he falls sick/has an accident and needs to be in a wheelchair. He's in a lot of pain physically and mentally and wants to end his life. His parents employ this lady that's pretty poor to try to get him to change his mind. They fall in love but he doesn't change his mind and ends up going to switzerland to get assisted death. Great movie but it's horribly sad.
My opinion she was the selfish one trying to change his mind. He’s not living and it’s sad. He has someone wiping his ass and feeding him he won’t be able to hold her and love her. He got to experience love before he passed. Her feelings matter too but once he told her he was gonna off himself medically she shouldn’t have tried to change his mind.
That what EXIT is . Taking your own life euthanasia is the word instead of leaving it in God's hand. God will give each and every one his strength to endure but for the love ones to stay and watch you terminate your life 😮 It is heart breaking beautiful movie.

The girl was employed to keep him company, give meds etc. They fell in love but the guy hates the way he lives, that he can't feel her touch or do things and he decided he doesn't want to live that way so he wants to kill himself, that's why the girl is very sad and angry and calls him selfish. At the end of the movie, he kills himself anyway, but she's with him. It's arguably a good death.
I hate how they made her cheat on her boyfriend and have us pretend it was okay or that somehow he's the bad guy. Just have her break up with him sooner.
He couldn't move, eat, wipe his behinde, scratch his nose, make love, have kids and so on...I wouldn't call this a lovely life. Would you be happy in his skin? She was a young healthy girl, how long do you think could she cope with being a nun?

He can still see, talk, experience, and live a long happy life with her. His money could buy all the help he would ever need. She wouldn't be a nun in any sense of the word.
