Both Logic Pro and Ableton Live are excellent DAWs in their own right but the difference IMO is the FUN factor. Ableton + Push is just an amazing inspiring combination that just begs for spontaneous jamming and idea generation. It's just a happy accidents generator.

that's exactly the thing... I know Logic is such a great DAW across the board and after 1.5 years (and watching pros like Hunter using it) I know my way around it pretty well. But for some reason it still feels so uninspiring to me to work in it most of the time.

Hi Nelly I love logic and garage band but my biggest issues is they mac computer but refuse to not make any hardware for Logic Pro is just stupid. One thing I find frustrating about logic is how certain hardware just doesn’t consistent’y work and play friendly. This makes creating frustrating especially when you have a crash and lose stuff that ddin’t save. Even after all these yeast iam eyeing Ableton and FL because Apple jsut doesn;t seem to invested in really turning logic pro😅 into a proper pro daw outside of software. Hardware isnt everything but I think it’s just such a huge omission that I can imagine is making them lose customers over the long period. But I could be wrong but it just such a huge void.

@@glitchmatrix666 Yeah things have definitely changed over here lol. Pro Tools has the best "Sound" and Mixing Workflow. Probably the best, audio editor in the game as well. You can absolutely mix in Logic Pro!!! Use what works best for you! Time and money are key so make the most of it! Which is why I moved over to Ableton - to Produce, Mix, Master & Perform all in once place

So I don't even use stock sounds anymore... I mainly use 3rd party or analog sounds (my drum kit, piano etc...). This allows me to technically use any DAW (that has a sampler). I chose Ableton for its advanced production/performance tools. I wouldn't buy Ableton ONLY for sounds..

You not really doin much beat wise. Ableton makes producers feel like they're making some ground breaking tech. When its all basic loops, with a mute/solo button. Dont get me started with the "push" scam. A free "expression" piano? Sequencer? None. Renaming time stretching to warping doesnt make it anything other than a time stretching clone. This whole video blew mines. Stop comparing these things to protools. Not and never will be in the same league.
