Mariama La Tariko ist die dritte von VolNet geförderte Filmproduktion von Gunjur Movie and Drama Production (GMDP). GMDP möchte mit ihren Filmproduktionen für gesellschaftlich tabuisierte Themenfelder in Gambia sensibilisieren. Die Gruppe gründete sich im Anschluss des VolNet-Film-workshops 2012. Vor und hinter der Kamera arbeiten Personen aus unterschiedlichen Milieus und Berufsfeldern ohne qualifizierte Filmausbildung. Allen gemeinsam ist jedoch die Freude und das Interesse für das Medium Film. Rund 500 Personen besuchten die Filmpremiere in Gunjur/Gambia. Der Film soll zukünftig in der Aufklärungs- und Bildungsarbeit in Westafrika verwendet werden.

Lamin Comma, What do you call it when a teacher abuse a student ? Not easy situation, Mariama tryed to say no but you see what he do, he will not respect a no!
Children should feel safe about theyr teacher and trust them. ( And when you are 15 years you are still a child, not adult )
