Mutya, Keisha and Siobhan are alumni of Kingsbury High School (like me!) They were a year above me, and I first saw Mutya in a sweet shop in Kingsbury. They had left the school to become the band by the time I started studying there. Managed to meet them (but Heidi was the newest member at the time) after I won tickets to an AOL Backstage Sessions recording back in '02/'03 (from CD:UK). When I took out my year book for them to sign, Keisha was super excited to see that we went to the same school, and then she and Mutya were asking me about certain teachers and headmasters of the time. It was a great great day ^^
i don't know if it's one of the best but it's a great song and it was so underrated! It has that nostalgic thing that makes you feel that tap in the chest.
The original Sugababes are easily the best ever British girl group vocally... I would love to see you do more of their performances! Keep up the amazing work👍🏼
Everything is all there. Siobhan has grown sooo beautifully. She’s so strong and solid, her tone is gorgeous. Mutya’s vocal LIVES in my nervous system. So husky and even and deep. Her voice is the perfect foundation in the MKS blend. My girl Keisha with that beautiful vibrato super distinctive tone and the bright highs is the glue! Overall, the combination is exceptional. They individually make interesting choices and I’m here for it. MKS is a gem. All those years apart have served them very well. It’s truly like they never separated. The blend is beautiful, so strong and fluid. This is how you come back.

What is most incredible about them is that they individually have very powerful and unique voices, but when they come together in harmony it is pure magic. I have got to say this and always have for me sugababes have the best harmony out of any past and new girlband there sound is just incredible the voices blend so well together plus the sugababes music over the years even from day one was just incredible new years day overload
Flatline is a BEAUTIFUL song I watched them perform it live at the O2 Shepards bush 6 years ago and the girls are amazing live singers I was hoping they would stay together 😭 but everything happens for a reason now they have their name back hopefully we'll hear songs like no regrets, back in the day and boys on their new album after 20th anniversary edition of one touch next year. EXCITED for 2020 and beyond 🙌🏾
Having a husky voice when you're young means it can go 2 ways as you get older but Mutyas has just gotten better and aged so beautifully like an aged red wine its got those gravelly tones but she can bite it up to those high notes with ease! God its just beautiful and all 3 of them sound better and better and never have 3 voices been able to merge like that and sing as one but still being individuals at the same time... genius!!

You look genuinely surprised by these girls. I love your reaction. Those watery eyes you get of sheer joy.... In 2000 when they first came out they had this angelic quality. I was gutted when siobhan left. But back together they are. They have the best voices in the industry hands down! The song they did called Run for Cover is amazing. If they had stayed together they would have just been unstoppable. There seriously is no vocal group like them. When they sing it is like a choir of angels
They're my generation as well but I haven to give Little Mix a shout out because they are incredibly vocally talented and acapella is something they're known to have worked on since day one and mastered.

I don’t mind how Mutya’s voice has ripened. It is more huskier now and I think that’s common with women as they grow up but I’m also worried because the girl loves a drink and a smoke! Everyone loves a bit of bass but don’t think I want her to sound like Barry White in the next couple of years. Can’t wait for the girls return. Ive been waiting patiently for.... them!

You need to watch some more MKS they have a few more performances singing other new songs for reload sessions and it was soooo good. I never grew up with this line up of the Sugababes but after watching MKS it is my favorite or least would have been.

Sugababes are one of my all time favourite girl bands...they never had annoying pop hits. It was all so fresh sounding and they never got a thrashing here in NZ (except for Push the Button lol) I just adore their sound.
