He thought I could make them in Austlalia. He did but named them TimTams. And the rest is History. As they say.

from personal experience, i can truly say that us brits do some amazing snacks, cadbury is the best chocolate, for me, american chocolate tastes like dust in the mouth, and while if i`m honest if you really like your chocolate than you would have belgian, or even milka, i like what i like, walkers do the best crisps, we do the best biscuits, most lager tastes like a cats filled up the bottle, when we have winning beers, and out of the world cider, french cheese is all runny, and goey, and when you have to make a cheese sandwich, you would be insane if you put anything but cheddar in it, we do the best meat pies, mr kipling makes the best cakes, walls make lovely ice cream, we have proper tea, and certainly not some funny iced american juice, claiming to be tea, we make the best fizzy drinks, and especially if it`s old favourites like cream soda, and lemonade, who needs coca cola, when the minute you open the bottle it goes flat, we make the best puddings, and desserts, and we make some lovely breakfast cereal, so who needs soggy cornflakes.
I want as many Americans as possible to see how to approach Marmite... With respect, like you sensible two. Knowing the similarities with Vegemite helps but still refreshing to see it tested properly and guess what? For the firsr time in ever.. IT SCORED A 9! Whaa hoo!! One up for the yeast lovers. And... Many Americans have approached Marmite and Vegimate the correct way and it still tastes like shit to us. It just isn't a taste we grew up with or appreciate. Like how everyone hates on our chocolate, doesn't bother me at all, because Americans actually like everyones chocolates, from the European chocolates to Japan's darks.
You really needed to try some different type of cadburys chocolate. As they was made in Birmingham England and the one you had was not there best. But need a nice bar of chocolate 🍫

i might well be bias here but from what i`ve tasted from different countries, and especially america, i can clearly say that us brits make some of the best snacks in the world, and while i don`t mind the odd bit of yankie chocolate, most of there food generally makes me want to hurt myself, and when i`ve gone into the world foods aisle of a large supermarket like say morrisons, and i at least think well why don`t i perhaps try something new, then i soon remember the last time that i did this, and have to take a sick bag with me, and while indian chutneys etc, that are made in the uk are devine, please don`t think that this is the same with every jar that you pick up, and while some countries and especially in europe have indeed some truly amazing food, there is also some countries that make food that i would not even give to a goat.
