I was one of the original animators for Double Rainboom (the Rainboom explosion was built and animated by me, among other things), and I agree with every change you made. One of the biggest flaws of Double Rainboom was it's pacing, and you chopped out a lot of the excess fluff that didn't need to be there. I approve.
Its pretty cool to see one of the animators being somthing to life ^^ You did a good job The only issue was the story really unfortunately, good animation Cannot save a not so great story, lad
I think that it would be funnier if it was rainbow trying to do a light hover that causes her to blast through the ceiling, and instead of a dramatic shot of the aftermath, a wideshot of the golden oaks library's windows being blown out from the shockwave of a sonic rainboom and a rainbow trail coming out of the leaves. Maybe twilight gets blasted out the door right in front of pinkie and pinkie says "did something happen?" oblivious to what just happened
Okay, I've only gotten to the part where she drinks it, and I've already got a few guesses on some foreshadowing. Twilight says pinkie could probably rip a hole in reality, and there's a little bit of the potion left. I don't know if it's because I'm being extra perceptive, I know how the story goes, or it's not subtle. Maybe all 3.
Of course, and yes I do plan to continue all in good time though since I am draw these by hand and it's just a hobby not my actual job. Besides the next part includes the Powerpuff Girls and I want to get it just right.
