Might be a nice idea if you could answer questions that people ask on your video. Seems like a good amp but I will await more user feedback and sound demos.
We are spending nearly all our time in the Buchardt owners group on facebook and answering emails from customers. We want to be more active on youtube, guess we need more staff to help out :)
When should I utilize either the master tuning feature or the room correction feature? Can I use both features simultaneously or separately to achieve the best possible hi-fi sound quality?
Hi Mads, Should be the natural roll-off setting for the crossover upgraded s400 also 40Hz? Is it suggested also for the new MKII version? Thank you. Best regards, Gabor
On a completely side note, are those gray/beige covers on the speaker behind you be coming with the S400 MK2 or will they be available as a separate purchase?
Mads, do you realize that if a phone is set with a larger font size you do not see everything and need to go into setting to decrease the font size? Can this be fixed?
When will the Buchardt app for Android come or where can you download it? Since I have a UMIK 1 and have already tried it with the Android mobile phone, a calibrated microphone would be available, which was the reason that only Apple devices were operated!
we are releasing the IOS version first, and then we would finalize the android afterwards, It would still be over a month before the android would be ready. the umik does not work with the system. but we are working on a dedicated microphone for Android as well.
@@madsbuchardt7845 looking forward to this. Been keen to room correct for almost 7 months since getting the A700s, as I know rooms can kill the speakers performance. What's the release date? Great update btw. Thanks.
I’m curious if there is a way to add some eq to the room corrected eq. For example, after room correction I find that I still would like a little more highs to the sound? Also, my current room is L shaped. The listening area is the bottom line of the L (living room couch) but the vertical length of the L is a dining room table with a kitchen at the very top. When doing room correction I intuitively focused on the listening area and did not venture too deep into the other section of the room. Would this be your advice as well?
so, what is the natural roll off? I've got a pair of B&W 702 S2. The frequency range is 28Hz - 33kHz -6dB. The frequency response is 45Hz - 28kHz+-3dB. Is the natural roll off 28Hz or 45Hz? Thank you!
Sorry about the late reply here. I would set it at 40hz in that case. But you can see when you perform the room correcting just how deep bass you get from the speakers in your room, so you can always redo the correction, if you see they dig a lot deeper in your room. How deep bass you get is 100% dependent on the room. We had our S400 in a small well treated room, where we got 26hz at 0dB which is insane. But that is just with the help of room gain :)
It doesn't work if you use the Roon ready option, that is something they need to fix. So I have to switch Roon off every time I want to use the app to make adjustments I guess. Which is not much. Still, the app doesn't work as easy or smooth as I expected.
Congratulations Mads on all your superb work, and your team too of course.
I am already using it, love these functions!
I look forward to these additional features!

Do you think the Eversolo DMP-A6 would be a good pairing with the Buchardt I150 amplifier powering the Buchardt S400 Mk2 speakers ?

Silly question, when will this app be available on the App Store?
Is there a way to integrate REW eq? When I use REW it is with a calibrated dedicated microphone that is much better then the iphone mic.
Note to self: A500 natural roll-off is 25Hz

Does it bypass the volume control when starting the room eq? And for manual peq how many frequencies can we set? Thanks.

Color options for grilles would be something you can buy at some point. We don't know exactly when these would be ready, but It's for sure coming :)

@@madsbuchardt7845 I'll have to wait another 31 days

@@madsbuchardt7845 Looking forward to the Android version as well. It's fine if I have to buy a mic, as long as I finally get the room correction.
6 months later and it seems like android version still not ready.
White covers 😳
Why are there black ones in the package with my white A500 ?

It's no problem to add EQ filter on top of the Room correction curve :)

Is this actually released yet? I just downloaded the iOS app and it seems to be the old one
it's almost ready for being released, so it's still the old one in the app store currently
I have tried this app on 2 Android devices and an iOS device. This app DOES NOT WORK.
It works for me
