I was there 9-14th October, the only thing I thought was a bit of a let down was the restaurants. For a 5 star the food was disappointing, I was half board and the breakfast and dinner at the canteen was nice. I’m going to the Baobab next October.
@@tiffanyduong It's Gran Canaria, not some Arab country lol. Gran Canaria is probably the safest anywhere in the world. You won't find any dodgy stuff anywhere.
great video I stayed here in Dec 2022 and loved it. Food was great for me as I am a very picky eater. We never found big queues at the times when we went, maybe just lucky. We also had our preferred area of seating each night. The staff were brilliant. I booked the spa circuit 4 hrs and it was the most relaxing experience I have ever had. Well worth the cost. I would go back as it is a beautiful place
It is a superb hotel. Great staff too. We'll be back but probably only go B&B next time. Plenty of excellent places to eat out we'd like to try. Thanks for the heads-up with the spa, we were umming and ahhing about doing it 👍
Been there 2 times and we will definitely go back. Rooms are OK but the garden, facilities, breakfast,... are superb. Last time however, we had a sea view room above the reception hall. Great views on the central plaza, infinity pool and sea... but very noisy. Music almost all day coming from the central plaza area and very much noise due to the entertainment in the evenings. So next time, we'll get a room again as far away from the central plaza as possible. Like we had the first time we were there and which was very quiet.

Been plenty of times to meloneras once in this hotel. Good hotel only minus hear is the restaurant. Food is fine it’s just the lay out that kills it for me. The long small hallway makes it feel very crowded it’s hard to just look at what food there is and you can’t tell where the Que starts since it’s all next to each other.
Hi Neal, I have booked this hotel for next year. This year we were on Playa Del Ingles and all the hotels had entertainment in the pool area all night long which was very annoying for us. How is the situation there? Is there also this party animation every day? I hope not but maybe you know better. Thanks for the very nice video
The entertainment is off the main reception so if you’ve a room overlooking that it could be a bit of a pain. Usually over by 10ish IIRC. We were miles away from reception and all the restaurants which was great, nice and quiet. I’d definitely request the same room when we go back. Enjoy 👍 A bit jealous tbh 😉
Can’t help but feel you missed something negative? Was the reason you wouldn’t come back purely because of the review at breakfast? Would’ve been nice to see more of the surrounding area

How far is the walk to the grocery store from lopesan resort? Is it safe to walk out of the resort? Thank you

I don't like big hotel or big resort it's always a very long queue. and there are like a chicken house they stack all the people in one place for food
Exactly what it’s like at this resort now too. Shame because the rest of it is superb.
