Step1 . Derive reducible representation. Step 2 : Derive irreducible representation. Calculation of total modes is from here. Total Modes = trans + rot + vib(IR + Raman) trans and rot are derived by character table (coefficients of irreducible representation is not written while writing down trans and rot) vib is calc by total modes - (trans + rot) IR active is (x,y,z) while Raman active is quadratic
their is centre of symmetry in H20. so how can its ir active modes and raman active modes is same . it is holding an contradiction to mutual exclusion principle

Search "similarity transforms" to test for conjugation.

For B1, B2...there is also present quadratic form. But why are you not considering those...for IR active mode.
