In t ball I hade 5 of my friends on my team we all hit hr’s every at bat but not over the fences and someone tell when did they start playing t ball with fence ‘s
Kid deserves some BBQ flavored sunflower seeds, cool blue gatorade and some big league chew bubble gum for that performance! Also need to take him to the pizza parlor after! Nice job little man!
This kid has some potential!!!! If i was out there i would be a teenage Barry Bonds. But i didn't write this to brag. Either way, awesome job David!!!! Wonderful name by the way.
@@ThomasSportsTV they did 6U t ball in Portland last year when we attended, fields are bigger. My son sent me this video because he wants to hit a ball over the fence. He’s in 6U and only hits 140ft out. Training hard for league this year to hit the ball over the fence. 10 more feet and he should be able to do so! He got inspired by this video.
Oh ok. Yeah I’ve seen those fields in Portland. Enjoy those times in tee ball. Some of the best times before it gets too serious. Good memories for sure.
1963 5 year old little league fast pitch know special rules 200 ft fence dead center, errors were errors 14 teams played each twice 26 total games their were quite often bombs hit out of park ! All but a couple on each team could throw field and hit! From back then to now the kids today start at 5. Most back then, when they could stand up. Thats all there was back then!!!
When I played tee ball they literally wouldn't let you hit a homerun. I would hit it over the 100 foot fence and they said no, you can only have a double.
Yep I know of some leagues like that with the two base max rule. We’ve played in one of those and have avoided that league ever since. Leagues with that rule and leagues that use those soft core tee balls that bounce everywhere are avoided.
It’s a Home Run.... he can relax and enjoy the moment. Why not take it all in? That was only his 2nd game trotting around the bases. Barely turned 6 at that point. He’s learning. Of course he knows how to run the bases if it doesn’t go over.
Yep in Texas. And Florida. And many other states. A few Coach pitch teams will start at 6 for some. Most start at 7 in Texas. Kid pitch starts at 9 for most.
Bro not cool it is t ball the kids can not even though the ball 15 feet what do you expect not cool I am in 4th grade and I hit 4 in one game not cool but he. Is a strong kid not going to lie is is strong
Dude 6 years old off a tee haha... our kids are throwing against each other at that age... he is also swinging up at the ball. He should be hitting top half of the baseball off the tee
Smh 6 year olds pitching...Must be a lot of walks, strike outs, and hit by pitches which wouldn’t be fun defensively. A lot of standing around. You’ll have your kids who swing at everything or your smart kids who swing at nothing. Also, he swings up at the ball to save a kid from getting hit by a hard line drive. Like I’ve told you before, he’s barely getting his feet wet with a little coach pitch now. He’ll officially be there at 7 this fall. There’s no rush to greatness. He’ll still be able to compete with those same kids his age who are at coach pitch or pitching against each other now. That I can guarantee.
@@ThomasSportsTV Actually no we have a ton of competition 6 years old to 8 years old. The 6 year.olds are almost 7. to my point he has to create a bad habit for safety of other kids. Im just saying kinda puts him at a disservice as well as the other kids. What league is this little league?
It’s a recreational little league. But is just as competitive as any other 6 year old teams. His swing is the last thing I’m worried about for bad habits. Like I said, I’d hate for him to be on his heels defensively waiting for someone to actually hit a ball. Especially when 8/10 players are walked or swing at everything. Those are worse habits. And boring for the parents. You’d take your base, the catcher is going to miss 6/10 pitches so you steal 2nd and 3rd.... repeat. Which league are y’all in that pitches at 6 so I can see? I’ve seen teams out of California do it. And it’s not pretty. Like I said before, David can compete with any of those kids/teams.
@@ThomasSportsTV We play pony baseball in california with over 700 kids at our Rec league. Every year our Allstars teams play against usssa teams and we compete with them win some and lose some but overall always getting a ton of work in especially defensively. You are absolutely correct about the defense being boring for the kids from time to time but it does help them when they go up a division the next year and a ton more plays are made
That’s what I figured. Cali gets them started early with kid pitch and coach pitch. Most of Texas plays T-ball ages 4-6. But it’s not a race for me. We’re grinding either way and enjoying the game in the process.

He hit more home runs in one game than I hit in a lifetime
Fax
Same
He was just a solo home run away from hitting for the home run cycle.
Yes! And he was at the top of the order for the next inning. But they called the game.
Is that David or Frank Thomas out there? Keep up the good work young man!
Finally an ACTUAL home run.

In t ball I hade 5 of my friends on my team we all hit hr’s every at bat but not over the fences and someone tell when did they start playing t ball with fence ‘s
I had many multiple homerun games when I played but never in practice or when playing t ball did I hit one over on a tee. Crazy, kid is awesome.
@Clayton Proud Thanks! We appreciate your nice comment.

Impressive, when I was playing t ball I just got inside the park home runs in almost every at bat but our outfield was double the size of that one
This kid has some potential!!!!

Last one was a "Walk-Off" 😉
Absolute CHAMP
Alright Little David Thomas I am extremely proud of you may God continue to bless you love you man!
Next babe ruth
He should not be in t ball
Wow even tho that’s a small field that’s impressive
Sheesh
Nice clean hits but the field is so small. At least compared to the ones we use in Texas PG and LMA divisions for 6U ball
We’re from Texas too. PG doesn’t do 6u Tee ball. Only coach pitch. This was only the beginning…. He’s older now.

Let's all relax before putting him in the major leagues, it's tee ball
He is to big for t-ball😐😐😐😑😑😐😐😑😐😐
Hitting home runs off a tee is way too easy anyone can do it. Still impressed that he hit 3 tho
No, not any 6 year old can hit home runs off a tee you ignorant fuck. Don’t reproduce.
Destined to be a Blue Jay 🙏

Nice trot! LOL
Off a tee duhhhhhhhh
back in t-ball i remember not being able to go any further then 1st 😂
😂
I used to play here
SIGN EM UP
How deep are the fences?
I believe these fields were like 120-125. Smaller fields. The main t-ball fields they played on were 154.
That Trot way to slow we throwing at em
😂
I don’t have fences in t ball
Sorry to hear that! At least you can hit it far and get infield home runs.

Teach the kid to RUN the bases. It's t-ball and 6 years old is too young to trot like a hot dog.

Awesome buddy. Keep it up 👍🏽
Field is to short if that was my field I would hit home runs everytime
Post a video of your hits.
@@ThomasSportsTV ok I just gotta wait till I have my next game

Still no game yet?
