Gathering some data, can you help? If you run a CISS (with tanks) on a printer that requires you to replace the chips, is the following true: You must remove the carts to replace the chips, it causes air pockets, requiring you to do head cleanings to get flowing again, somewhat lowering the count of your new chips. How big of an issue is this?
It will a silly question... Can I use sublimation ink with that system? Do you know about the chips with this CISS system? I saw another videos that have to use "one time use chips" with cartridge... Whats happened if we use the CISS system, do still needs to change the chips every time that show a low ink warning?
This system uses a chip resetter. For this eu version printer, it does work. I heard on US printers it does not. So when you get a low ink warning you have to take the cartridges out and reset them. It is kinda tricky if you never did it and the first time took me about ten minutes. I'm using sublimation ink and it's good so far but I have not used it much. I just had to use the resetter to get the machine to recognize the cartridges
I just bought it, but keep in mind they sell it for the UK/eu version. I'm in the USA but I bought the UK printer through Amazon UK to use this printer
Hi is there a link to where you get your refillable cartridges ?
is it a one time chip or auto reset chip?
Is the cartridge chip a single use? Or how do I reset the cartridge chip back in use if you refill the ink tanks? Thank you
